Enjoyed a day at Willow Springs yesterday. Perfect weather, no wind, and mid 70's. First time with the Pani on track ... Super fun! Anyone considering tracking their 1199 I highly recommend it. This is what the bike was built for and the only place you can responsibly use it's high performance.

All the best,

Tom

Oh man! How do you still ride with the stock seat?? That thing is unbearable. When I first got the bike I wondered... "Out of all this technology that Ducati has put into this engine, the Superquadro bore and stroke, the titanium valves, decompressor system, DTC, EBC, adjustable power modes... and they gave me a tennis racket to sit on..."

At least TKO changed out the banana peal foot pegs. You are right elite, the butt buster seat has got to go!

So cool. I am doing the CSBS in few weeks there as well. I am not taking that Pani though becuase for me it is a long ride from Texas. But looking forward to that experience and then testing the Pani as well after that. I did change the seat. I put a gell pad on the oem seat and the Luimoto cover as well. It made such a big difference! Here how it looks

I can't wait to take the bike to Willow - and will be doing levels 3 & 4 at CSBS. Also what is your trailer set up as that looks sweet.......and the tires look sick!

Did my first bike track day on the Panigale last weekend. Insane.

You aren't kidding that the track isn't "err smooth"! But glad you got to see the Panigales potential.
Congrats to you and TKO!!!

Yikes; looks like all the offroading you did on your journey will have come in handy. Get any flashbacks of Detroit potholes while you were pounding around BW? ;)

HA HA HA! Yes I did...and Death Valley, too. :)

Riding to the track was the easy part, TKO....it was the 225 mile ride home after that sucked. I greatly underestimated the physical effort necessary to pilot a bike around a track. It's far, far, far harder than I ever imagined.

Cool video. Looks like you had fun! I dont know how you manage to ride 225 miles back home after track.

So what was harder, the last 225 miles on your '1000 mile day' coast to coast journey or the 225 mile ride home after your Buttonwillow track day?

Hi TKO,

I'm looking for a trailer for trackdays as I normally just ride there, what make is the trailer you are using in your photo ?. AC
