Nope just from the wheelbase. SF uses same shock length, ride height etc. Rake and trail is the same. And the eccentrics on top as delivered on both. I suspect the swingarm is actually longer. 1098 sf had a longer swingarm also. Measure your swingarm centerline to centerline and I'll measure mine. Then we'll know.

The chain on the PV4 is 114 links and use 16/41 sprocket, the SFV4 has 116 links and 15/42 sprocket. Distance between center of sprockets on PV4 is 675.7 and SFV4 is 691.16mm with the same chain tension. If the svingarm angle and attachment points is the same, the swingarm on SFV4 should be about 15.5mm longer. The swingarms has a different part number also.
(The PV4R uses 114 links and 15/42 sprocket, -0.49mm from PV4 )

really need the dimensions from swing arm pivot to front of eccentric hub hole to see if the SA is different. I see the part numbers are different but sometimes that can be misleading with ducati.
Plus there is quite a distance to be had on the rear eccentric both north to South affecting ride height, and West to East affecting wheelbase and SA length. Seems to me the Base versus R is about sprocket sizes, chain length and adjustment. The Streetfighter numbers do suggest something different.

SF swingarm is definitely different than the Pani... Panigale swingarm cover wouldn't fit the SF when i tried, SA is shaped slightly different.

Seems likely that it's 15-19mm longer.

With SA stiffness playing such a big role though I wonder how they might differ in that way... and also how the +30mm Pierobon SA differs in stiffness to stock.

2mm difference between the R and the base.

Does the R have different sprockets than the base 16/41?

You could have researched it and explained the difference or have I got to clarify that too?😉🤷🏼‍♂️ Research into engine size, characteristics and revs…👍
Page 3 paradise!

Twhat? has any of that got to do with factory sprockets?

I actually spent 2 minutes looking for the R specs but didn’t find what I was looking for.

Alright, it’s 15/42 on the R. That explains the 2mm difference.

And there lies the problem like most threads..

If you can’t understand that a 1000cc versus a 1100cc or a 14000 versus a 16500 rpm range means the engine characteristics are different and will require their respective gearing to be different.

It’s got everything to go with factory sprockets …🤷🏼‍♂️

The subject was about swing arm length, chain length and sprockets… the .... does capacity and max revs have anything to do with this?

What are you smoking?

So its about 15 mm shorter. All the other parts should be the same except the chain guide etc. I'd prefer the shorter pani one. I'm going to run 190's too. Bike will turn harder which suits my use better. Thanks. I'll start comparing the related parts no's.
