Thanks for the advice! But if I ever feel I need cruise control for the riding I do, I will look into a Diavel/X-Diavel or a Multistrada ;)

Ranger86 - I was gonna say... if that's your bike you don't deserve to own it treating it like that!!! No Machine should be left for dead in the cold and snow like that!!! I cringe at the thought of all the rust it's gonna have...

there are issues and of course, they resonate more than many none issues as they dont say anything (or on this forum). I had few issues in the past 2012 but now i have a 2016R. No real issue.

Panigale allowed an amateur newbie track rider like me to go from slow C group at track to A group and dragging elbows in 1 year. Love this bike.

Personally speaking, I don't like messing with the stock DOT rear turn signal set up. There's just too much riding on the safety aspect of highly visible rear turn signals. Motorcycle brake lights, while bright, just aren't big and obvious enough to today's mentally disabled drivers.

I did the Evotech fender eliminator which reuses the stock turn signals and nicely cleans up the back. It fits well, looks right, and doesn't diminish the proper safety provisions.

Thank you. It's going to take me a little time to get used to the electronics. I come from an era when traction control was your right hand and when you simply hung off your bike (old school version of body position). Plus, I have "The Older I Get, The Faster I WAS Syndrome." lol I'm on the shorter side -- when I drag knee, the bike lean angle is about the same as when my taller friends drag elbow, and I have less skill than Marquez has in his pinky ;)

In general, I mirror your sentiment. I have installed a lot of fender eliminators and integrated brake/turnsignals on friends' bikes, but mostly don't do the same for my rides. I haven't had a new bike in a while, but have noticed that the USS Enterprise-like plate mounts seem to be more common recently. I was looking to clean the rear up for artwork/promotional purposes, but I think I'm just going to remove it completely for artwork and do something like the Evotech set up for street riding. Thanks for the tip -- I'll look into Evotech.
