The stock windscreen on my Panigale S is just a bit too small/low. I'm 6' and it's just too much stinkin wind and buffeting. I need something a bit bigger/taller and something that gives me more protection from the wind.

I'm down to 2 choices: Zero Gravity Corsa light smoke windscreen. This was easy enough to track down on the Internet.

The other option I'm considering is the DP (oversized?) tinted windscreen that comes with the R.

Can someone out there provide me with the part number for this particular DP windscreen.

Thanks in advance...

STW..I assume you're a big fan of the Zero Gravity product. :D

Realistically, I'd like to know if, in fact, the ZG Corsa windscreen does create a bigger "bubble" for the rider. I do a lot of freeway riding and need something to keeps the wind at bay a bit better.

Your thoughts and overall impressions about the ZG Corsa windscreen?

I have had both...Firstlythe DC screen is junk..thin and just crap..The ZG Corsa is well made..solid.. looks great larger than the Ducati Corse screen and easier to tuck behind...need more reasons??

I love the DP windscreen but because my independent mechanical put it on and not Ducati this happened and they won't warranty it out.... ............ Form great function zero gravity maybe betteriI just prefer plexiglass

Gentlemen... come now... lest we forget the german company with thick plastic and beautiful workmanship ... MRA;)

Hmmm...sounds like another horse is in the racing. The MRA product...

Prince Albert...Your thoughts on the MRA windscreen?

Hi Akshuneer

I have had MRA windscreens on all my Ducatis... The plastic is very thick and is absolutely beautiful...
They cost a bit more than the others ( although the panigale prices seems to be lower than what I payed for my 999s and my 1198s) ...
Go to their website and check it out... I have had Puig and DP in the past also, they are good but very flismy compared to MRA.. The Zero Gravity is actually quite good also but I don't know the quality over time as others have promulgated here.

The DP screen cracks very easily. My Ducati tech found a crack around one of the bolt holes on my R during the first service. He gladly warrantied it for me, but it was surprising how easily and quickly the screen failed.

OK...so it looks like the DP windscreen is out. I'm hearing far too much negativity about it... I had heard rumors about how fragile it is...

Still in the running are the Zero Gravity Corsa and MRA windscreen.

I also know that Magical Racing makes a nice windscreen for the Panigale, but from what I recall, it is quite expensive - something in the neighborhood of $250-$275. IMHO that's too much...

Anybody else have any input?

I just received the mra type R Is the same like the oem is not high enough .but I have the puig on the bike now I am 5 '11.

I got the dark tint Puig screen - plenty high enough, looks great.

Ah, yes... The Puig Racing windscreen. It's quite affordable as well. I'll consider that one as well.

Can anyone comment on the optics and the protection it provides from the wind?

The zero gravity corsa is the best windscreen I have ever had. Downside is that they don't actually make a light smoke... The light smoke is really medium smoke. But it looks bitchin and blocks a ton of wind. Don't think twice, get the ZG corsa.

PS. I wouldn't buy the MRA just because of the repulsive picture of the dude pitching it :)

I have the Magical Racing windscreen. Yes it's expensive, but the quality is amazing. I use their windscreens on every bike I own (if they make one for it). It sits about the same height as my DP that came with the R. The MR windscreen is so detailed, there are small cutouts on the carbon on each side to allow you to fold the mirrors towards the seat and out towards the front. Also love how perfectly shaped it is to prevent distortion when tucking.

My DP one has cracked too. It's actually cracked at the bottom and then 2 days later another stone punched a hole in the top. Not good enough considering the price.

Was looking at the ZG but it might be too dark for the GoPro, any chance of someone posting a few more pics of the taller MR screen?
