So let’s review…the guy is parting out a financed bike because he’ll get $1000 more than if he just sold the bike, one person (probably the account he was using before creating this one to learn about his bike that he’s now selling) posts an over the top glowing review that smelled fishy in itself.

But now he’s had a surgery that he’s exceedingly offended that you pseudo joked about, and he has to have his mechanic remove the parts at some future date. For a cost significantly higher than the $1000 he was gunna make on pseudo stolen parts.

Yeah nothing fishy here….of coarse this guy could be on the up and up and just actually be that much of a train wreck of a life, but even then it’s always a ....... hot mess to do biz with someone that ...... up, so without HUGE discounts justifying the headache why would you want to waste your time chasing this guy down to deliver parts while everything in his life is going sideways

So I change my offer, $1200 for the forks, I’ll pick them up personally and pay cash.

.... I’ll even bring my toolbox and remove them for you 😂😂😂

Think of it like a pick and save, I’ll do the labor so you don’t have to pay your mechanic ;-)

Good luck buying V4R forks for under 2k with both stock and stiffer springs. Want to come remove them yourself go ahead. My jack comes Monday. I’m not here to screw over anyone but I’m not gonna sell my parts that are basically brand new for pennies on the dollar.

Something seems ‘off’ here for sure.

Only thing off here is the “off” weird and lonely members of this forum. Y’all really act soooo tough hiding behind your keyboards trying to bully people but it won’t work with me. It’s kinda sad and I feel bad for you. Try to enjoy your day. Go kiss a girl maybe? Touch a ....? Have you ever done those things guys? How many sales will it take to be considered legit? Are any of you really who you say you are to begin with? I mean come on let’s calm down a little yeah? Buy something small if you are worried and make a transaction. Y’all judge before someone can even prove themselves holy crap

29 minutes away from ha in Indianapolis is or was...

No one would ever touch my bikes unless I know them VERY well.

The problem with pick a part service is that people destroy $500 worth of items to get to a $30 part and don’t even bat an eye.

Many parts yards have realized this and in addition to injury liability risks, are not allowing customers on their yards anymore (at least here in TN).

That dude isn’t serious about buying your forks or he would have countered with $2500 or some reasonable offer.

$1700 (1st offer) is laughable
$1200 (2nd offer) is shameful

Big difference to destroying a door to get to window regulator on a junk yard lot and quite another to take the forks off of a new bike while the owner is watching.

At the end of the say on the junk yard lot its all going to be melted down, might as well sell what you can.

In defense of the skeptics (and as an FYI to you) this forum has had more than its share of scammers. For a very long time this forum’s sole moderator didn’t have the tools to properly moderate so the members had to be very vigilant and warn others of scammers. You have to admit that it’s not every day that someone parts out a perfectly good V4R. You also don’t have any history on this forum. For at least those two reasons—combined with the forum’s history of scammers—people have been suspicious of you. The more sales you make, the more parts that you deliver, and, most importantly, the more buyers who give you positive feedback the better things will go.

Woodcraft rear sets and Ohlins damper were shipped out 30 minutes ago, confirmed by the FedEx agent who boxed them up and took my shipping account number over the phone.

So far, the seller has been prompt, courteous and quite mature to work with despite his ongoing recovery from recent surgery.

This was a test run for a small money parts purchase (at the sellers suggestion) to allow others to see he is for real and to enable us to feel comfortable doing business with each other.

The big money purchase happens next week.

appreciate you being patient and working with me while I’m waiting for the mechanic to show up. I don’t just have a bike jack on hand and physically am not able to remove those wheels by myself. Seemed like a good idea to start with those smaller parts and establish a working relationship between us so when the wheels are off we are both comfortable working out the sale

lol

F*ck me. This has to be the most drawn out, longwinded sale I've seen. Used to be the case that you would just post up a list of parts, sit back and wait for some interest (if any). This thread has become a keyboard jockey's wet dream.

There’s a couple of layers of stupid here that I don’t care to dissect lol

yeah this is my fav thread now... The biggest waste of a almost new amazing bike. Seller will be sitting on a mound of parts for eternity while making paltry sum of like $7300

Imagine not having anything else to do besides worry about someone else’s life lol. Imagine having no one to love or spend time with that you have the extra time to comment and follow a sellers post all day 😂

Let me help you….

1st layer of stupid - your measly $1700 offer for mint Ohlins v4r forks.

2nd layer of stupid - your ridiculous $1200 follow on offer. You’re going the wrong way, genius.

3rd layer of stupid - attempt to humiliate the seller publicly and then express your willingness to come to his house and remove the forks yourself.

Spend the time that you waste on this forum making more money so you can be positioned to make offers commensurate with the quality and condition of the parts you say you want. I guess it’s not a terrible idea to make a lowball offer and hope a seller is stupid enough to accept it…..just don’t think it’s gonna work with this seller.

You know what.. I’m gonna let it go because clearly you have zero relevance on here or in my life. Buy a part or kick rocks bubba
