I like superdomestique, guy has some panache! Him and Jolly need to team up.

The racing audience is hard to please. We want to see the tech/science/engineering improve but at the same time the riding to be more entertaining. I do agree the pendulum may have swung too far in the direction of tech at this time.

To me MotoGP and WSBK can have their breakout stars and still be entertaining. The media director just needs to step in and say "Quarteraro/Marquez/Bastia/Rea/Bau/Toprak have ...... off and are way ahead. Let's find a good fight for a lower position to show the audience and check back in occasionally on the front runner".

no Bagnaia in that list?!?

You all are wrong ;)

GP lacks the panache of the Rossi, Lorenzo, Stoner era. There’s no more show. Rivalries are more subdued. Today’s paddock is more clinical and technical it’s hard to get passionate over that. But it’s the best of the best so watching it is always a joy.

TT is meh. What they do is impressive but hard to be passionate when the competition is between the rider and Course. If it was a mass start (which would never happen) then I could get into in.

Where it’s at is WSS/WSBK. Close bar-to-bar racing with good rivalries. Sure it may be the same 3 riders vying for the top spot but it’s so unpredictable and suspenseful. It’s pure honest racing. Bikes aren’t such a factor. Good variability in manufacturers. And c’mon that save from Toprak at Estoril was mental. Not to mention Balda’s save at Aragon.

So get on board and stop being so wrong.

dude the competition may be between the rider and the course, but that’s like saying the competition in mountain climbing is between the climber and the mountain…okay and?

it’s utterly ....... epic….I think any of us can kind of imagine it dream of riding MotoGP style, like we can actually fantasies about doing it….Isle of Man TT???

.... no, they are as crazy and balls out as the top rally car drivers but no cage to protect you, no co-pilot/navigator calling out the next two corners for you….hell it’s not even rider against course, it’s really rider against himself…and for me the guys conquering themselves to not only do it but do it at the limits, woe, that’s epic

For me MotoGP is the peak of rider skill dancing on a bike at the limits, when you watch those guys in slow motion they remind of top modern day competitive surfers, the bike is both the board and the wave and those guys are just floating above the surfboard on this crazy wave and making it look easy….amazing stuff….those guys are dancing on war machines traveling at 200 mph, it’s like they are made of wind and the illusion of a form barely touching the bike but directing its fury.

but the top Isle of Man TT riders….those guys are falcons hurtling through trees at top speed on the mental and physical limits and not even noticing the limbs of the trees that brush their wings and faces as they dodge and flit between them at speeds that will crush their bodies like they were made of paper if the miscalculate by 1 inch at 180 mph.

Nicely captured Steven!

The TT is like no other race series in the world. You need HUGE cohonas to even contemplate it and every year there are the inevitable fatalities. It just goes with the territory. If you want to watch and look on in awe, then checkout this video of Michael Rutter on a V4 Speciale going around the TT circuit. Anyone who thinks this is easy, is frankly deluded. What's even more memorable is the quiet and understated way he pulls into the paddock afterwards. No cheers of support or glory, just switch off the engine and walk away like nothing happened. Pure class.

If people here think actUal MOTO GP or WSBK are boring, then maybe i am watching something else.

Both championships are great right now

Only thing you guys are missing, is someone to cheer for,

Riders are changing really fast, but the talent and the show are defenetly there

And yes, TT is something incredible, but it is not for everyone, riding around a close corse let’s you explore more the limits of the bike and rider, without having to pay with your life if you make a mistake.

But for those who run it, tons of respect, that thing is WAAACK
