So far I've done only a few bursts. Get that brake fluid fully changed and first service. Then I'll open up.Shaconage...the 'place of blue smoke' as the Cherokee call it.
ran it up to 7k a few times. a few clicks short of a 1000 miles.
I'll check they said they do an update at first service. I'm willing to bet it is limited before service.if you can, see if the dealer has updated their diagnostics to include the V2. I was the first having the first service and the tech said it took a while to download/update. I am not sure if it was his software or mine.
brake fluid is hydroscopic so it might be worthwhile to throw the tech a twenty spot to watch and learn. a.t.e. used to make blue fluid so you could visually see the color change but the guberment doesnt allow that anymore. there are only two rules...no bubbles and trat the fluid like it's muratic acid. installing new masters, slaves or capliers requires tapping on things to combine the smaller bubbles but flushing isnt hard.
I recieved a hand written thank you card in the mail today from the dealer. nice.
Ya 100 buck labor is kind of insane. But gotta spend money to learn i suppose to hopefully they allow me to shadow for the brakes.they have solid garage doors at the selling dealer. dude might have been playing candy crush for three hours.
suspension adjustments can go wrong quick. one setting at a time then a few 100 miles to note changes. the surface on blue ridge requires a lot of time with your weight on the pegs. i am turning the screws/tuning to that road up to the virginia line as i am not allowed to drive in that state.
