First few things i'd like to do right out the box is add a clear clutch cover. Any suggestions on which brand or who to buy it through? Also, i want to make the bike loud,.. alot louder. Anyways to gut or cut the stock mufflers to achieve that or do ya have to buy aftermarket? Also do you have to have the comp. remapped for the bike to run ok after doing such a mod. and also i'd like to get rid of that long ass plastic thing holding the license plate way the .... out there. Any suggestions on a brand and place to buy the license plate relocate? Thanks everyone!
Oh and any riders in Nor Cal??

The Starace RSR intake system should be on top of your list as well. These bikes have a very restrictive intake. His kit allows the bike to rev quicker, makes more power and pull all the way to redline. You will not be disappointed. The down side, his web page is not functional at this time so you need to order directly through him via Facebook Giuseppe Starace. These videos are in Italian but it gives you a good pic of what is happening

Awesome, thanks!!

Man that looks like a pain in the ass to install. Has everyone who has installed one loved it, and had zero issues? What is the cost?

Everyone that has mounted them rave about them and have zero issue. Most ducati shops recognize it as a approved mod and doesn't hurt warranty. He and his kit is recognized and partnered with Sprinter filters as well as Termi and have specific maps for his kits. He is in the process of making a line of exhaust as well. It is also a partnership Termi . You will not be disappointed

Can you install it without remapping? Do you know the cost of it by chance? Also i'm not on Facebook :/

I believe you can do the airbox without a remap . I'm not sure what the cost is on the 950 kit. I'm not sure of any other way to reach him.

Came across this video as well. Isn't really a technical specs but shows a real world difference. I'm not sure if yoy will be able to view it due to it being on FB but its worth a try clicking the link.

Ya it wont let me view it. Have to be a member of the group. Just got the bike today. the ride home (1.5 hrs) sucked cause i had to keep my RPM's below like 4k, and vary them for the break in :/ Then it started to rain on me FML. Got home, cleaned it all up, and am now waiting for sunny days.

On another forum, there was mention of this guy having some shady dealings with customers over the years. Buyer beware, caveat emptor.

Look at the dates on those shady dealings, it was many years ago. He is now partnered with Sprinter filter and Termi so he has a lot to lose now a day if he isn't consistent with his parts or timely. You will find that he was held to his word on the shady dealings from years ago, although it did take a while before he made good on his promises and dealings.

You're not wrong. I just wanted to make newer buyers aware that there is a history here.

I know all this because a few years back he asked for my help in making things right for the US market. I personally went through and got the list of people who never recieved parts and sent off a list to Giuseppe. Later he came through for everyone that I could find that did not recieve their parts . I kept a list and everything. Granted, a couple people had since sold their specific bikes by the time they got their parts but everyone that I could find was made whole. Now, with this new partnership he is held to a higher standard than just a guy in his personal garage making parts. Now things have progressed and he has been at it on the up and up for a few years and everyone is happy again.
*Disclaimer, I get/got nothing for helping him and helping the people who didn't get their parts. I ordered a kit and then spoke with him a few times while I waited for the kit. He then asked for my help in this and I agreed. It seemed to make everyone was happy *

Super cool man! Here's to hoping his parts are amazing and he becomes a reliable source for said amazing parts!!! I'm stoked.

I got his email. Giuseppe Starace [email protected]
So ive got about 200 miles on the bike, and can honestly say i don't feel the need to do anything to it to add more power, or increase the rev limit. Call me old (which i am. 46) but i'm not the guy i used to be. I've owned several litre bikes, and have cheated death many times. I mostly got this bike because i'm over the crotch rockets, yet not quite ready to sit on a lazy boy (cruiser bikes). I really like the riding position of the hypermotard, even if my ass gets sore after just 30 min. of riding. The front end comes up easily in 1st gear hard roll on's. I would like to make the bike louder (it is louder than I thought it would be for stock though). I wanted to add one of the clear clutch cases, cause i thought they looked really cool... they're not $1,000 cool though. .... that. I ordered a radiator oil cooler and engine guard kit as well as a fender eliminator. That might be all i do until i pull the trigger on some slip on exhausts to make the bike louder, suggestions? Thought about wrapping the bike in O.D. green too. Give it a military look. Thoughts?
Oh and lastly, what tire pressures are more running? Thanks!

That’s a good thought. It would be so bad ass.

definitely super slick your wrap, it’ll be like The best nonstick pan, no bugs no mud and no rain will stick and it doesn’t make the vinyl glossy if it’s a matte look

My name should be DucatiKev ;) I'm Kevin As well. Ya ceramic is the way to go for sure. Only thing though, the red frame would be a bitch to wrap (for me anyways) , and i think it would look better flat black if i did the bike in flat o.d. green. What do you think?
