Pirelli SUPERCORSA TRACKDAY tires

I wonder under what conditions rolling circumference or diameter is measured? My measurement was taken using a measuring tape on the center of the tire with 30 psi. The tires actual rolling circumference would be less under load and at 27 psi hot temps.

Anyway, this tire is definitely tall and has more lean angle potential. I use the edge of the tire with the 200/55. With the 200/60 there is an additional zone of unused rubber the width of the supercorsa wording. Granted the road temps have dropped so im not going into the turns as hard. But, even so there is more lean angle potential in the 200/60.

I'll have more feedback as i get some more miles on this tire.

Used the new 200/60 (SC3) TDs at Willow Springs on Friday, great tire!

I had the rear at 26psi cold, front 28 cold. No warmers. Outside air temp was maybe 50 at the first session, warmed up to 65 mid day. Took it easy for a lap and half, then dropped the hammer.

I don’t think it matters as long as you always measure each new tire at the same pressure. One that is close to what you run obviously. That way you can adjust ride height and gearing accordingly. iirc 1.75” of roll out = 1 rear tooth when gearing is around 2.6:1

Prolly not as big of a deal w a v4 but having the gearing right on my bike is crucial. It runs like a 2 stroke : )

Wear seemed pretty decent, should be able to squeeze another track day out of the rear.

In case anyone cares about mileage on the canyons with the 200 60 TD:

I expected a little more since compared to the 200 55 TD it has more tread depth. However, i hit the cords down the center before hitting the wear bars. Maybe due to shape overall or the cords sit shallower down the center? Don't know but for me on the streets/ canyons I prefer the 200 55

TD. Pic is at 1000 miles and cooler weather. 55 to 70 degrees farenheit.

Must be a pretty straight canyon? j/k What are you running for pressure?

Plenty of meat on the sides. 200/55 TDs are out of production.

Yeah, lots of straight sections. So, definitely sacrifice on the sides. I ran 27 psi rear and 30 psi front.

I struggle finding a tire for what i do. The 200/55 TD seemed better than 200/60 TD for me but on a track the 200/60 would be better once you make gearing and geometry changes.

Everything is a sacrifice. Right now it's my wallet that is sacrificing the most! But glad to see options and competition from manufacturers.

Beeing single compound it goes fast on the street

Supercorsa V3 work better for street track

TD work better for lower price and no warmers on track

and SC for best track performance with warmers

but will go better for slicks instead of SC

Tried the SP V3 and the TD and their both awesome I feel like TD Can take my aggressive riding z bit more but its not Pirelli Superbike replacement, those slicks are for the track and they‘re top tier. But TD you can get good amount Of track time and ride the bike with the same tires on the street no issues, and for Texas right now with 45-50-60 weather they are good and require less time to heat up on the streets compared to tear offs at those temps. All in all its the best tire in the Pirelli line other then Rosso corsa 2 in the Pirelli family. They’re also typically Cheaper then the Supercorsa SP V3.

I've done one track day on them.... I really don't see much difference in feel from the V2's.... I really like them especially the slightly taller profile of the V3's....
