I haven't had issues with anything breaking, but I have had fogging with every Pista or Corsa I've owned.

Never had one break. Then again, I don't ever wear the thing except on the track. I can't imagine wearing it for general use. I would think it to be a horrible "riding" helmet if you have sized it correctly to not move at track speeds. Perhaps the visors are not designed for longevity. Don't know. I would think that "cycle" life of the mechanical components was probably not a big factor in the design as I'm sure at the racing level, they are not articulated often and the shields are probably tossed quite regularly.

first generation Pista was not all that well made IMO. Tabs were breaking off inside where your pads are connected to the helmet. Apparently this was fixed thereafter.

I use it as an every day helmet and the fit is as a helmet should fit.
If thinking about it I also delivered pizza for a while wearing the Pista (fastest deliveries ever :D)

The dealer didn't have the RH helmet tab in stock so he took one of a new helmet.
He told me the tabs are made of a light matter and its a common problem, that's why he changed it without asking questions.

The tab on the visor also broke (didn't see that) it can be changed but he changed the visor completely due to the fog issue.
NOTE: I don't clean the inside of the anti-fog visor to not harm the protective layer, somehow it started to peal... he asked me if I want a pin lock visor instead put I said no. I don't like it.

I also said the cheek pads don't hold too good, he checked my helmet size and told me a costumer had an accident with a week old Corsa, return to buy another Corsa and left the damaged one for the store, its the same size and I can have the pads for free "smell it, its still has the new helmet odor":D

Don't know how the AGV service in the US but that was a good experience for me. I don't see it alot

Oh that's not good. I've never tried one of those. Arai's fit me to well.

First AGV for me (my whole life I had only Shoei's... don't like the Arai's shape).

Got a Pista GP for me and a Corsa for the wife.

My AGV Pista worked perfectly when it saved my life last June at the track.

Love the design and features...just not the quality compared to Arai and Shoei

Thats definitely not ok for a 2 year old helmet. Have you talked to AGV?

sent them a msg today thru the agv.com and thru their facebook page.
also e-mailed the seller and visited the local dealer.

shooting all directions, ill "hit" something...

one important thing is that the helmets serial/bar-code is still on, without it no one can help, its the helmets ID in the factory.

Where was this helmet made in? I was thinking recently about AGV Corsa Iannone Seagull but once I found out it was made in China I gave up.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. Ive got a pista gp and have a gp r on order so im hoping this is a one off issue and they step up to take care of you.

Pistas are made in italy and i think the some(or all) of the other other lines are made in china.

There was a video of a guy who got the seagull and it was pretty horrible. The square decals werent straight and worst of all the visor would not stay open, any little movement the visor would come down a bit.

AGV's customer support is kinda crappy. When I bought my and my ....'s Pista GP the inside of the OEM visor was peeling off (the anti-fog coating) and I emailed them (Italy and USA) and no reply at all... Good thing is Cycle Gear took care of it and they replaced my visor with a Race one (more expensive) that doesn't come with that cheap a$$ coating and I just bought a Pinlock lens and done!

Never had any issues with my corsa... and as long as I've had my visor insert I have not experienced any fogging, even while tracking at Road America in the rain last year

writing on the helmet says Made in Italy under the clear coat.
