So been lurking. I lurk at an expert level..Posted a few times. Bought some wheels.
I am Mike Ruhe Nice to meet you all. First time Ducati owner.
Have built numerous R1, R6, GSXR, Honda, BMW. This is my first Italian bike.
Have been digging deeper and deeper into the bike. Doing service items and getting ready to ditch some stuff I don’t want.
Originally from the NW Burbs of Chicago I now live North of Atlanta.
I like Latte but will not ride a motorcycle to get one!!!!!!!
Not mentioning for commercial purpose, but I am a co owner of PRE Trackdays operating in the South Eastern US. Which means I get to lots of track opportunities to test and develop this bike.. My plan is to test and build ultimately providing a few paths for V2 Owners. From block offs and/or tape on lights 1-3 Trackdays a year. To larger considerations, to full blown race / MotoAmerica level WSBK level. No authority obviously My journey will be true trial and error blended with input from this forum.
I will try to Post some build videos as we get down to it. Lots of parts headed to Georgia. Unless it’s a bike being built to race. I tend to build bikes that are easier to work on at the track and repair god forbid,
Advice on what not to do welcome any tips really I feel like I am in a little village in Italy and no one speaks English ( my Italian isn’t horrid but is a level mid sucks)
