Jeeezez... I need help
After I bought my GF a Meccano Monster 1200S kit (http://ducati1299.com/ducati-monster/26931-monster-1200s-build.html) she went crazy!
Today a Pocher kit arrived. She ordered it secretly for EUR 450.- including a bling bolt set!
What a shock! First she forced me to buy M1.0-M2.5 screw taps, and now she is sitting in front of a 600 piece puzzle.
This kit is awesome!!! Lot of parts are made of aluminium, just beautiful.
It's not a common model build, more suited for precision mechanics to build it all together.
Sorry, I have to go and teach somebody how to tap threads properly

By the looks of how the fairings are held on its seems that you would need to touch them up a bit. Regardless I want this kit sooooo bad!

If you can afford and own the real thing, this toy is pocket change comparatively.

got the Tamiya model now its an airbrush fest
I bought touch up paint from touch up direct. Matches perfectly. What paint are you going to use?

dont know yet. i think to go on the SL paint job as its a 1199.
just got the compressor and airbrush.
hope to have some free time soon for the model... (im a 1st timer dont want to f*ck up)

Headlight assembly in....then nose fairing...
Then side fairings....these are very delicate, thein/brittle plastic, can't overtighten the screws or it will crack...
Had a nice case made up...
Comes with a nice plaque...
It's going to look great in my office!
