Help Support Ducati Forum:

I have the Anniversario version but haven't started putting it together yet.

Greetings all, I know this forum is old but I just bought the Pocher Pocher 1:4 Ducati Panigale 1299 R Final Edition kit. I have done 4 Tamiya Ducatis and one in the wings, the Superleggera V4… cant afford a real one so I live vicariously by building models :)

Here is a pic of my first build///oh YIKES didnt realize they were so large…sorry

My 1299 Pocher Final Edition is in the house! I’m pumped, I have all the after market hardware to with
it

I started the engine, lots of details and parts to be added, I bought aftermarket hardware so the screws and bolts are the proper ones. Had to tap several of the holes as the castings were not tapped. The engine weighs in at 1 pound 15.7 ounces.

You can see some of my bike builds on HOME – Scale model motorcycle builds

Thanks for viewing feel free to comment :)

That's awesome! Your timing of resurrecting this thread is perfect as my sons (7 & 13) will be building the 1299FE version over two weeks with me in July. I've spent the better part of a year picking up all the additional accoutrements like the bolt kit and taps. Finally going to have the time to see it through in one go.

Best of luck with your build. I'd appreciate more photos.

Cheers!

Thank you sir! You got the hardware etc etc from Paul Koo? He is a master and will help you turn a bland kit into a masterpiece please post progress pics! I have a ton to add but wasn’t sure anyone was watching :)

Yes, I believe it was Paul. I ordered the parts, tools and instructional guide from him on eBay.

We're probably not going to make any creative additions, but just try to assemble it in the best way that we can.

I have a pre-order our for the soon to be released Gulf Porsche LMP car. Hoping the 1299 will be a good warm-up for that one.

Pocher Phile? Hes a great guy and will go out of his way to help. I build all kinds of bikes mostly Tamiya 1/12th my b very first one was the Ducati 1199…the rest is history :)

I’ll post more pics late today. I did most of the mods thats just the way I am…he took things to the extreme :! Nice to meet you and enjoy it’s a good kit but with Pauls parts and mods its fantastic!

Exhaust in place, terrible engineering on these parts

Awesome job! It almost seems a shame to cover it in fairings with all that detail and work getting covered up.

You'd probably find a lot of people were admiring your progress, but with no questions or issues to resolve, they were silent. I know I was.

Any way, top job 👍

Thank you! The fairing will be removed and displayed separately once I build my new house to display them all in ;). I appreciate your comment :)
