So I need to replace my coolant hoses (going with the Samco silicone). Figure at the same time I'm going to do the block off plates.

In the process of changing the hoses I'll have almost 75% of the labor done for removing the radiator. Since it's that close would you remove the radiator and change spark plugs as long as you were right there? Bike has 3600 miles and runs/starts fine. I know the 12K service interval. I really don't have a valid reason to do it other than 'I am right there so I may as well'.

Thoughts?

Well, the real "problem" is to get access between monocoque and engine :)
If you want to replace really all hoses....

I can vouch for what Gecko says. I changed all mine and all I can say is the two inter cylinder hoses are very inaccessible and in my case I removed the monocoque to do the job, though not just to replace the hoses. It was remarkably easier but requires major disassembly to be able to remove it. Unless you really are set on changing these two hoses I would leave the stock ones on as even if you do manage to remove them, you are going to struggle to fit the new ones and tighten the new clamps, especially the two at the plastic thermostat valve housing.

Yeah, pretty sure I'm not gonna mess with those. My main problem is the squirter unit leaking and the hoses attached to it. So I don't plan on changing ALL the hoses. lol.

So what about the plugs??

Whenever there is doubt there is no doubt.

Replace them.

I mean really, less than $10 in parts vs. HOURS of labor?

When you say the "squirter unit" are you referring to the black thermostat housing? If so and it's leaking, where is it leaking from? At it's attachment point to the engine or between its two halves, or as is sometimes the case, one of the two hose clamps for each hose is loose and it seeps from there?

Yeah, its the thermostat housing. And it shows signs of leaking between the two halves.

Earlier this summer I noticed a couple of small drops of coolant. Poked around a bit and found my clamps were quite loose. So I tightened them up (specifically the clamps/hoses on the t-stat housing). Seemed good for a few weeks then I started getting drops again. Next up I loosened the clamps and made sure the hoses were fully seated on the t-stat housing. One hose, the house that comes off to the left on the t-stat housing, was off by about 6 or 7 mm. I thought for sure that was it. Pushed everything on, tightened up (1 full turn after not being able to rotate hose clamp). It was good for a month or so. Then started leaking again. Finally decided I'm done with it and am going to replace the whole deal. Parts are cheap. It's just the time involved!! lol.

The INOX samco hose clamps are too wide for one of the thermostat connectors. I took a narrow one (about 6mm) from an old washing machine.

I used Mikalor clamps for the Tstat housing as gecko said, the clamps Samco supply are too wide for these two points, the rest are all fine. Did originally fit two new Norma OEM clamps but I just don't trust them and once on cannot be tightened. Given the position of these two hoses I opted for jubilee clamps throughout. One other thing, the workshop manual states 6Nm for all the cooling hose clamps. I prefer to set them by feel. Just tight enough so that you cannot turn the clamps plus one full more turn of the screw. Never let me down in 15 years of wrenching bikes. Beware of over tightening the Tstat ones as you can easily distort or crack the plastic. Hope it cures all your leaking problems.

So I just ordered all my junk except for my spark plugs.

I must have had an extra helping of dumb ... with breakfast this morning because I can't seem to find spark plugs.

Can someone point me to a proper spark plug? I see all kinds of references on the 'net but nothing conclusively says "1199". Just looking for a quality OEM replacement.

Disregard, pretty sure Nick at Ducati Omaha has me sorted. So in 5 to 10 days my fun starts...

Samco hose kit, new squirter unit, spark plugs, secondary air bypass plates, NRC mirror block offs, and CRG Arrow mirrors. Yeeehaaa.... Oh, and going with Engine Ice coolant.

C'mon spring. Daddy needs a fix!!!

So I'm almost done. What a pain in the .... Seriously...

Gonna flush brake fluid and replace pads and then I'm ready. Here are a pics of the carnage.
