So a little background. I have a 2014 1199S with the +300 SSTK header and no up map. I purchased the rapid bike race as part of the upgrade and went to work. It all worked gloriously together for the first 2600 miles. Then VIR happened.

During the last session of VIR I had a pop and subsequent loss of power. No big deal I though and finished off the session (After I got myself out of the grass...:( ) I thought no problem I'll add the adjustments from todays track sessions to the base map and all will be right again....WRONG!

The bike stuttered, bucked, stalled, threw giant red warning lights and kicked my cat. SO I called Yaman who worked around my schedule even answeured an email during family time (Unnecessary) and ended up remoting into my bike today to fix up the maps. Since this morning when he worked his magic the bike has ran strong and smooth exactly as it should be!

So props to the follow on service and support by Yaman and his crew. When you demand the best look no further.

Props indeed.... I'm interested in what the issue actually was?? Bad map??? Software failure?? Any info??

STW, from what I can tell it was a combination of bad events.

1st and foremost the long header had overheated a grounding wire and caused a short that I've since relocated. I believe this caused a intermittent spark.

2nd the intermittent spark led to a rich reading in the o2 sensors causing the rapid bike to add fuel...and add fuel...and more fuel. The final fuel graph when Yaman looked at it was like Mt Everest rising from the center of Kansas between 3500-6000 RPMs.

More to follow as I accumulate some mileage again.

Yaman (RapidBike USA/Cycle Pro) is all about customer service. It's what separates the good and reputable companies from the bad one.
