He slid on his chest at the end of the slide. When he had his suit open you could see the burns on his chest and abdomen. It didn’t look terrible, just like a patchy sunburn.

That part of a race suit is single layer. It’s not going to take long to get a burn, even a minor one.

Yes the marshal giving him a ride on a scooter after the crash, did collide with another scooter (face palm) on the way back to the pits.

he did say all his injuries were from the first crash though.

more to the point where's the FFS ducati Do you want to win the championship....?? Be a pisser if Pecco loses out at the end by 4 points......

I wonder if he wants to win it on his own merit? But I do get other ducati riders should help especially due to the fact they haven’t had one since 07 ,, he should blame his DNFs more if he doesn’t win it

The whole race i was thinking, "Si ciao Bastianini, you irrelevant little blue smurf, are you really going to do that to your friend because you have nothing to lose?" Then yes. He did that.
Massively rare 5 in row record 💩
10 points behind instead of 5 points 💩
It was exciting though and maybe anyone who's arrived to that level of competition would do the same. I just can't believe there isn't more collaboration. But there really isn't
I mean it would be one thing if Pecco couldn't have beaten him, but that is very much not the case. This was about managing risks while one had a lot to lose and the other not much.
That's racing.

Team orders suck and rob racing fans of proper racing... besides, Ducati have still won the constructors championship.

I think Ducati have done a great job by winning and staying out of rider tactics.

Doesn't he have a factory ride next year?

IMHO. Pecco should in no way want team orders. If he wins the riders championship for the rest of his life he could look at the trophy with pride!
I also think the bike was not at all ready out of the box at the season opening races. Did Pecco screw up early YES. But Basta was winning on the 21' with all the data. I think he has been more impressive lately due to his improvement. And not from the bike. That is what was the delay in closing Millers replacement. Ducati wanted see him improve and not just rely on the 21' Bike. He showed them that. By the delay they also gave Martin time to prove himself after his operation. He showed he was not a factory rider. And the delay ultimately helped all parties.
Ducati need to have the 23' bike be an evolution of the 22'. Don't get to cute. It needs to be the cats meow out of the box. And I believe ZARCO will be doing the development in these last races.

No one is crying…. He struggled to get around a right bend, poor prep and position some say..
people remember winners, not how they did it!
