It’s a small leak, some left over red crystallized coolant around this plug. Have no idea what this plug does. That being said, is it the same sealant as used on the lower radiator drain plug? If so, what is that sealant called.

It will be dripping from above not from that screw, thermostat housing is known to go bad.

manual says loctite

It’s as said above the thermostat housing …also the pipes that feed it have been known to leak at the entry / exit point due to the clamp check those points first , the thermostat housing you will be able to see the pin punching through the plastic if it’s bad ….. I have had issues with coolant and sorted it out, the dealer first replaced the water pump while under warranty to find out they could have replaced a rad hose and a new clamp ….we also had the coolant leak look as tho it came from a different spot

I had the same issue, a buddy that was a tech at a Ducati dealer said not to worry about it if it’s just a little bit here and there, it’s an issue if coolant is pouring out and leaving a little puddle on the ground when stopped.

Same here. Took my bike to my ducati dealer, and they said that ducati are aware of it and a small amount of leakage is acceptable
