Question/advise to those who wear Full Leathers 1 pc on Street:

How do you carry your essential things you need to carry like driver lic/insurance/money/cc and things like that?

Any cool/special way you guys do it? or do you just put few things like cards in your inside packet?

I know we had discussions about street vs track and some wear full leather some dont.

I typically wear taichi or dainese jacket and jeans with short/full gloves, full/riding boots/shoes. :)

I am thinking of doing 2 pcs leathers, but if I was doing a canyon riding or what not, I would like to wear my full leathers. Currently, I have no good roads to ride but I will move soon.

I know some older "experienced" gents have been doing this for while so I was just curious.

Most leathers have inside pockets.

I carry my cell phone, and my wallet. On occasion I may put my wallet under the rear cowling.

Over the weekend some douche said to me, "Aren't you being a little extreme".

To him I replied, "not with idiots like you on the road".

I guess I have a big ass wallet. I probably need to do a money clip type thing and put it under the suit.

Cell phone strapped to upper triple. CC, cash and ID in inside pocket. Prefer one piece (kangaroo it is) over my qr yr old IXS 2 pc

I use a cinch bag with a plastic molle/d clip to hold the strings closed on me. I don't want to feel anything, and doing it this way is perfect.

I don't wear full leathers because I live in Hawaii but I would recommend swapping out that big-ass wallet for a front-pocket wallet (that you carry inside your jacket). I still use my HD front pocket wallet I bought when I had my VROD Muscle. All you really need is a debit card, your house keys, and handy (German for mobile phone). Travel light!

Sometimes I wear the Dainese Drop leg pouch when I wear my leathers if I need to carry stuff besides my phone and wallet. I understand how wallets can get fat with all the stuff like Insurance Card, Drivers Lic, credit cards, ATM cards, medical insurance cards, cash etc. it can be a pain.

I use the Kreiga bum bag (or fanny pack to those over the pond). At 250lbs I have no concerns about not being butch!

That is the manliest fanny pack I've ever seen! Long live the Manny Pack!

Yeah, thanks for posting that. That isn't half bad! I usually do the backpack thing and my dealer has some Ducati fanny packs that are tempting, but are still a fanny pack. The key to this whole issue is the different use cases people on the forum have for their bikes. If I were going out for a ride and then coming home I could wear full on leathers no problem. Usually I am riding from point A to point B (office, dinner, errands, etc.) and don't have the option to wear leathers or the option to not be able to carry anything (change of clothes, bag of California Tortilla, etc.). Fun ride - leathers, no problem. Transportation or commuting - full leathers not an option.

Wallet and cell phone in front pocket/pockets for me. I don't carry a lot of crap in my wallet so it is almost a money clip type set up anyway. One thing I do like about my astars suit is it has two pockets in the front where most only have one.

Remember that you are preparing for the crash not the ride.:D

Was that the one you took pic in at the gas station on your post??

Looks great!

yes, Arlen Ness. had a steal deal on this, 269 instead of 1099 Euros, online at motorrad-ecke.de in Germany...
the only problem , the size 52 is a little tight for my 197 lbs

Essential cards (driver's license, one debit card, AMA card in case roadside assistance is required) and a little cash inside leathers. Registration, insurance card, and cell phone beneath the seat cowl.
