Quickshifter - Blipbox - length

Hi everyone,

I replaced my quick shifter on my 1199 with an auto blip from blip box but I am now having issues going from neutral to 1st.

When installing the new shift rod, I measured the original between centres and wrote down 21.5cm. I made the new one to the exact same measurement but since I'm running into this problem, I wonder if I measured correctly.

Has any of you faced this issue before or does anyone knows the shift rod length by any changes?

i go through this everytime i mess with rear sets, or new quick shifter...youll just have to keep adjusting it man. you should be able to adjust the length... luck to you.

I guess I’ll ride with a few tools in my pocket 🤣
 
haha, just play with it on a stand in the garage until its right...the 1199 is so sensitive to the angle and length of rod...just a couple MM and it wont shift...sucks i know.

The OEM shift linkage length is in the service manual. It should be pretty easy to find online.
 
Update, I played with the length yesterday and was able to adjust it properly after an hour or so. Thanks a lot for your help 👍
