Which ones to get? 600$ budget.. I have RSTs for rainy days, so protection, fit, comfort and function are criterias. So far I've looked at Alpinestars Supertech R, I like the "reverse layup" on the inside. Lower risk of layers to get stuck on the heel plate on the rearsets if they start to separate. Any other good alternatives?

Buy the Daytona Evo Sports GTX racing boots, hard to get in the US but alot of pros ride with them. They are very strong with great safety.

600 bucks is a decent amount which should get you into Daytona boots which hopefully you guys can get in the States (they're German). Never had any myself but friends have them and swear by them.

supertech r
there is a reason the greatest wear them MM JLO. oh yea they are paid to wear them nevermind

still supertech r

This may not be a popular choice, but I love the Puma 1000 race boot. I have the older V2 model (I think the V5 comes out this year?)...crashed tested them several times, and they're still going strong.

I also bet the liners they use are not the same as what we have in our supertech's but closer to what Daytona boots produce. Their inner liner has a huge amount of support and protection.

They will be my next boots comparing them side by side the Tech R's feel very flimsy.

Daytona Security Evo or Security Evo GP, the problem is they are hard to get in the US so it's usually a case of ordering from Germany.

Helimot in California is the USA distributor for Daytona boots. I would actually go through them since their sizing can get a little wonky, and you will want to be able to either a) spend some time on the phone with them and figure out the correct size first, or b) be able to exchange them easily.

No question Axial Pro Ins. It's STUPID comfy and light. Great feedback from the foot controls. That's was lacking from the super tech R. Felt like there was too much boot material between me and the foot controls. But to each their own. Why don't you just buy both?
