I'm about to change the front springs for a set more suited to my weight (heavy)but I'm wondering whether I should be re-valving etc as well or just buy a whole new cartridge? The aim is to get better track performance, probably doing some club racing with it.

Has anyone done something similar?

I'm happy to spend whatever required to make the bike work. I've got a decent tech who will be able to advise but wanted to hear about what people have done. I have the S model and would like to keep the electronic adjustment.

I've had good results calling RaceTech about other bikes. Haven't made any changes to Panigale yet.

IMO get rid of the electronic set up . What is the suspension doing ?

If you want to keep the electronic suspension just make small changes to see if your getting improvement .
You can raise the oil level slightly and just swap out one of the springs .
I think they run a 9.5 as standard try a 10.0 in one side first .

Ye I think springs & an oil check are the first step. I'm not so much heavier that the valving would be overwhelmed. I did the rear, went to a 10.5 and it helped. Common sense really.

I was wondering whether anyone was using anything other than Ohlins. I heard some good things about Matris

I'm 110kg. and went for 11N/mm fork springs on the 1199 base. Much better!!!
