Been having trouble with the rear brake location. It seems it would be way more comfortable if there were more adjustment to lower it down some more. I used up the adjustment on the plunger bolt. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. I asked the bike shop I go to, but they said it’s not adjustable. They suggested just getting aftermarket adjustable rear sets

Keep in mind that it’s positioned so that it can be used at full lean.

my 2020 has a mechanical stop on the pedal. the 'as delivered' setting was to high for me also.

I lowered it and adjusted the push rod and light switch accordingly.

I did that as far as I could go and still have a little play in the lever. Didn't move it much and still needs more. Were you able to get low enough for a comfortable position?

Who use rear brake in full lean? I don’t use at all this device

Using the rear brake when exiting a corner can help keep the front end down. Granted, the V2 may not put down enough power to need this technique, but I thought I would mention it. Also, some riders use the rear brake in mid-corner to reduce speed and tighten their line. Personally, the V2 rear brake pedal is good for me and I use it quite often to stabilize the bike. We have some weird roundabouts where I live that become a decreasing radius and chopping the throttle or using the front brake will only get you in more trouble (loads or pushes the front). The rear brake is the key to correcting the line and preventing a bad day, and a foot brake lever that is too low could be an issue when leaned over. A thumb brake is another solution to this issue, but those setups are not cheap or easy to get right. Some riders will not use the rear brake much and may prefer a lower pedal.

Ok Ok Marc Marquez

Been too hot to ride here lately. Plan on adjusting the pushrod and lever stop as far as it will allow then reinstall and try. Right now it's just uncomfortable having to right with my foot angled upward to cover the brake when needed.

Haters? Who hate u? Come down and relax everything gone be fine

Sorry @Val213. I'll state it another way to be constructive. For anyone thinking that using the rear brake a full or near full lean requires MotoGP skills, there are many situations where average riders may want to use this technique. For example, we have some 270 degree, 25 mph highway on-ramps in my area that are a favorite for motorcyclists in full leathers. It is easy to get a knee down while keeping it under Marc Marquez speeds. In this scenario, the rear brake can save your bacon, but the right-hand ramps can create an issue if your rear brake pedal is too low. So far, I have not seen any MotoGP riders on our on-ramps, but I have seen several local riders put it in the ditch because they grabbed a hand full of front brake when they overcooked it.

Same here. The heat index is 107F so the bike is staying parked.

I doubt my lean angle will ever impede on my rear brake use, but as its currently positioned its WAY too high.

Bike manufacturers should adopt thumb brakes. I can’t imagine any motorcyclist not interested in a thumb brake.

Supplementary foot brakes should be the option.

Maybe if you understood that when top tier Motorsport makes drastic ergonomic changes they’re doing it for a reason then you might even have a sense of humor as well.

Go on then bruv… you keep on backing’ that bmx in with your pedal, or better yet… wedge your foot between the swing arm and rear tire.
