Can anyone explain what is envolved in changing the rear sprocket. I think I'm going to go with a quick change set up. Not because I race but because it looks cool in the Starbucks parking lot.

Left axle nut and cush drive bolts. You can adjust the chain tension to remove it from the sprocket for removal.

PS If you're not replacing the carrier hub, you don't need to remove cush drive bolts IIRC.

Wheel stays on?

Yes...rear wheel stays on...you wont touch anything on the right wheel hub or nut.

1. Remove locking wire on left side nut, loosen your 55MM NUT (left side only).

2. Loosen the 2 chain tension allen screws on the swingarm...

3. Remove and pullout rear sprocket and transfer rubber dampers on new sprocket or carrier.

Note: your bike must be on its sidestand or on a front wheel chuck, while doing this procedure.

Then reinstall everything back.

Mmmmh, sounds easy ... I'm getting tempted again :)
