Rearsets?

Do you know what rear sets fit SLV4?
Those rear sets wont fit. Any rear sets made for a 959,1199,1299 and V2 (could include the 899 also. Im not exactly sure) will not fit the V4 or SFV4. The mounting system is different

I’m lovin’ my DPs

Agreed - I have Lightech on the v4 and they’re very nice.

What’s your opinion on CNC Racing vs Lightech for the 15R?
I was an Attack fan forever and would have gone that way had they made a solution for the 99s. I started with the DP when I first built it. Not a fan at least of that offering and for similar reasons, not a fan of the CNC or anything else that adds layers of complexity, in this case all that linkage nonsense.

So Lightech vs CNC, no comparison. Lightech all day. Excellent construction, geometrically enhanced rigidity, direct link operation (lever directly bolts to the shift rod without additional linkage) full precision bearing construction (zero play) lighter weight (less parts and fasteners to hold those parts together)

On my Lightech’s I replaced all the hardware with Ti and Mick made some custom carbon heel guards. Going on 6 years and they are as rock solid as the day I put them on and I ride a lot.

Sometimes I feel like the only person with STM rearsets but I understand why. They are awfully expensive, I just happened to get mine at wholesale price as a bonus goodie when I bought my exhaust from the Motocorsa racing team. They're extremely rigid and the linkage is a direct attachment as well.

I’m sure the STM rear sets are fantastic. Only issue I would have is that with Lightech, I can get spare parts if needed in a day from multiple vendors. Some of the more obscure stuff you can’t get parts at all.

Yeah I have ran everything in the past and nothing is going to beat Lightech simple, direct and parts are easy to get.

CnC racing is nice but again more linkage and more slop which causes false neutrals and miss shifts.

What's the recommendation on levers? I want something that's easily adjustable through a wide range. When I'm in town I like the brake lever pretty close to the grip.

Debating between Gilles and ASV, but open to suggestions.
