Congrats AntiHero,

I have to admit though, I am really surprised Ducati did not do a little more for you. I really think they are underestimating, or perhaps it is better to say that they are undervaluing what you have done for them.

While reading all the great things they did do for you, it just seems more is due. Your trip was a great read and was one of the first posts I started following before officially joining this site. While I had already ordered my 1199s, I can honestly say that much of my excitement in receiving it was based on your photos and story.

I'd be interested in finding out just how many people bought an 1199 after reading your posts. Regardless, your journey was an amazing read and I am truly envious of you for being able to make the trip, which is something I can only dream of doing.

Job well done sir and much respect to you for doing it.

Chris

Perhaps they are waiting for Dennis to wear out his bike?? Then give him a brand new one?? Fingers crossed....

Thanks, Chris. I'll still keep doing what I'm doing regardless, because this is exactly what I want to be doing. Ducati has, as I've said, been more than incredible. My recent experiences at MotoCorsa and Ducati Seattle are proof of that. I simply love what I'm doing and love the bike I'm doing it on. Perhaps if/when I can't afford to do it anymore my phone will ring....but until then I hope my adventures coerce and/or inspire as many people as possible into doing not what I'm doing (or what I'm doing it on), but doing whatever it is they want to farkling do with their life. For every 1 story about a guy who's bought a Panigale because of my R/R, there's multiple stories about someone who finally got the courage to do exactly what they've dreamed about doing for years, but never had heard the words, "DO IT, MAN! YOU ONLY HAVE ONE SHOT."

Either way, that's the best payment I could ever hope to receive. If me living my dreams inspires others to do the same, well, that only encourages me to keep on keepin' on. It's like some weird perpetual motion/infectious happiness process....
