hey guys

after owning my ducati for 1 day
im curious of if other people around the world have registry stickers or lables?

registry stickers or labels are proof that your vehicle is register for the road.

anyhow i have no clue where you put mine without damaging the panigale looks. :(

if you guys can help or maybe post a pic would be great

I'm not completely sure how it is in other parts of the world but in the US our registration stickers are small and is placed on our license plates.

That's crazy you have to stick it on your bike. Is it like that for the cars there also or do those go on the license plate?

I stick mine under the passenger seat in the boot ;)
I figure if I get asked I'll just say it must've fallen off. Patrol cars are all connected these days, so the computer will tell the officer if your bike is registered or not.

i dont think that will work with highway motorcycle cops as they know alot about mods etccc... stuff we do to our bikes

This is the way my dealer placed the inspection sticker. It's an aluminum angle bracket using the caliper bolts.

WE no longer have to have rego stickers in NSW they were abolished in Jan this year:D I don't know if this is the case in Melbourne though.. I used to use the rego tube under the number plate.

Hi BlueBear,

Sorry can't post a pic, but will describe as best i can.
Mine is mounted in a plastic holder i bought from Supercheap at the end/tip of the left hand heel guard, with 2 cable ties. From the hole in the holder the top cable tie wraps around at an angle between the 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock position, and the bottom cable tie wraps around at an angle about 2 o'clock.
The tab of the holder is behind the tip of the heel guard, and the cable ties go through the hole in the plastic holder and through the slot in the corner at the very end of the heel guard.
Looking at the left side of the bike, the plane of the base of the holder is on an angle that goes from the 11 o'clock position to 2 o'clock.
If you pull the cable ties up nice and snug/tight, it will sit nicely.
Also dry fit the holder to check before puting the label in it, as it fits better with the ridged side of the holder facing out. If it's flipped over to have the ridged side facing toward the swing arm, you will find that it may well scuff against the pionted part of the swing arm as the swing arm goes up and down.

Regards,
Brad

Not required to be displayed in NSW anymore after Jan 1 this year

Edit, if you have one for 2012 which ends in 2013 then you must keep that one on display until it expires in 2013. Thought I better correct my post in case someone got caught out. NSW residents only in Aust

Yep, ours look just like gman's above. Right now it is mounted on the lower fork arm, but I like that separate plate solution better. Now if I could just find one!

I don't know how handy you are, but couldn't you just buy an aluminum plate from Home Depot, and cut it down and drill 2 holes? I would be happy to make one for you if not.

I didn't want to try to cut the round bit and have it look crappy so I figured I'd just buy one. Then again, I could just square it off and that might not look totally Home Depot'd.

I found this one on fleabay - Motorcycle Inspection Sticker Plate 4x3 | eBay

IUf thge sticker's square, and you cut it just to fit, it will look fine. But I see your point. With tin snips and a file, you could get it pretty close to perfect.

Yeah, I could probably whip this up easily enough. Why doesn't someone make these in CF? :)

I just pulled mine off. I can have it mailed to you. I registered back to my home state where they don't require inspection stickers. Capt PM me if you want it.
