Ride height adjustment on a SFV4S

anyway.... I would leave the SA alone and get a pair of Panigale front inserts and some adjustable yokes with interchangeable inserts.

what shock do you have?

Andy do you
You sure those tie rods are longer? Seat height betwixt the SF and Pani is -5 mm for the SF. Those tie rods could be shorter to account for this. But you’ll only know if you put them side by side.

I don't know if they're longer they're a different part #. I'm just looking for differences in the parts lists. Andy I think we need to know if the SA pivots are at the same height. Looks completely doable.

You're right I need to ride it with the Pani inserts first. Manual TTX.

What is achievable with ducati swapsies....created and built by Me!

here's a 748R frame with a 1198RS Yes RS motor, street fighter SA, TTX shock, modified linear link, wide track front end with adjustable offset yokes FGRT forks, radial callipers, magnesium wheels... large corse carbon tank, bespoke BSD loom with traction control...
Here it is at Le Mans and for my ignorant friend the 67 was Shaken Byrne.

so the tie rod lengths vary in just a few millimetres generally between 135-140mm depending on model.

you need a ride height tool too

And ungynearing acumen

you tend to state something on here....generally wrong, it gets identified. You leave it for a day or two, do a bit of internet expert research then try to come back all clever.

oh, that's my investigative expertise!

Ain't nothing as fun to ride as a built 1198. What did it end up weighing?

Oh man. In case you need a place to store it I have room. Nice motorcycle. I miss the narrow tanks on the belt drive twins. Just easier to climb around on.

when I got the v4 it was stripped....worth more in parts. the engine went to Oz so did the carbon fairings and ecu.
tank went to Sweden the loom and tc are on a 999 with another 1198RS motor in it, my mates. they were both 180hp 90nm torque.....at that weight!!!

They'd just had massive lay-offs in aerospace when I started college otherwise it would be just an ME. That being said I credit my P-chem teacher for teaching me how to solve problems with the minimum of data.
