Very nice!

So, does standard AND reverse shift work with the OEM quickshifter on these bad boys?

Unfourtunatly no, you have to buy the Ducati reverse linkage to get the gp shift pattern

That is not correct. I have the Rizoma rearsets on my bike and they came with directions on how to flip the arm to get them to work for the reverse pattern.

They showed a diagram where you flip the lever arm on the gearbox side 180 degrees to get the reverse pattern.

Right, but the QS is a pull type, not push. That method needs the reverse QS linkage.

Please read above.

Here is an older post on the subject.

Here is the actual reverse shifter internals. You will notice that you must put the "box" on the actual shift lever tab but there is not enough room IMHO. Also there are 2 arrows what Ducati calls the Gear Change Control lever. Line the arrow up with the detent on the selector nearly 180 degrees up and your are setup for GP shift. You can always setup GP shift without the reverse quick shift. However I highly recommend turning off DQS if performed.

Also, Ducati was very liberal with the loctite on the bolt securing the shifter to the selector rod and prevents the bolt from moving cleanly out of the ball socket and you may find that the bolt carries the shifter away from the selector rod. If this happens, you have 2 options.
Option 1 No Recommended but might work) Loosen the shifter bolt enough for the lever to be noticably "stuck" and then while lightly heating the area with a blow drier tap the shifter toward the engine to break the bond between the bolts excessive loctite and the ball joint.

Option 2 BETTER)remove the clamping bolt on the selector so that the control lever can move closer to the engine casing and then finish loosening the shifter bolt that threads into the end of the selector rod. If not, you risk bending the shifter and damaging the threads on the selector rod and bolt. Move the selector to the detent 180 up and then screw in the shifter bolt followed by the installation of the control lever clamping bolt. Let me know if you have any questions.

Picture one is the "pull" standard and picture two is the "push" reverse style

Lastly, if you don't have a chapman set or something equivalent, it is quite difficult to get standard hex keys onto the clamp bolt in the standard configuration. See the pic of the chapman set in the yellow box.

Nice, they often give great deals or a flat discount for returning customers. Saved me so much money over the course of doing business with them (6yrs).

i was at my stealership and they told me 675 as well until i told them the price is 575 on the net everywhere. i said was 675 with instal they said no i said how much to instal the told me the price i said even if i get it here they said yes. so i said ok parts and service arent the same then. i said ill be back with the rearsets for 575. they looked it up said glad to see motowheels arent marking it down even more. they said they can match the price. i said no thank you i will get it myself.

I can't remember the last hard part I bought from a dealership. I did get the Termi's because they have agreements in regards to retail pricing and I could throw it into the financing lol. They charge more and you have to pay tax, no thanks.

Where did you find the heel guards?

BTW great choice, these are much better than the Rizoma's. I did opt for the fixed pegs, they help reduce damage (first hand experience 3 times). I'd recommend fixed foot pegs, folding toe pegs.

i saw them on the site looking for the sets. They actually helped make the final decision, as my main complaint was the big yellow logo on the guard! The close up pics helped me see the greater adjustability as well. As for the site, choose Lightech from "Brand", then select your bike. Very well designed interface.
