Thanks a bunch! I guess I flat out just didn't know what I've been missing for all these years.

When born blind you don't know what its like to live life after losing your sight. Or something like that.

Is this generally something most would suggest having the dealer install and then making the personal adjustments to the owner afterwards at home?

Thanks again!
It's not that difficult. If you're at all mechanically inclined you can do it yourself, save a few bucks and have the satisfaction of knowing you did it. I always feel better after I work on my bike or car, as apposed to paying someone else to do it and hoping it was done right. :D

By the way, on the flip side of that, I generally like to have an insured company do the work so if anything gets screwed up, somebody else is financially liable. I'm an attorney, so I guess I'm always seeing the world in terms of "who pays when .... falls apart". Often I find the extra couple hundred is worth it when I look at it as an insurance policy on the work, or things busting during installation.

No. Working on my bike is therapy. Ask my wife where I am? She'll tell you I'm in the garage touching my motorcycles!:D

Don't get me wrong, I totally get that. But I am now reduced to minor and easy part replacement due to my fear of having nobody to blame but myself, 3M application, or very detailed and long sessions of polishing. ;)

Ciao,
I was at Dealer today and saw these Rizoma rear sets on the counter.
They are magnificent in person and are now number one on my wish list.
I substituted the stock ones with these.
The quality is very fine: good bolts, good paint.
Customization is high, because lenght and angle of lever are adjustable.
The pegs has also 2 position to higher or lower.

More in deep it's possible to substitute each piece in a fast way (in the stock ones it's a big scream).

Keep in mind that till now I ever used lightech, but I saw a lowering quality trough the years, and with panigale a double (absurd) cost.

just my 2 cents.

Regards,
gino

I was installing my Lightechs today and have a few questions for anyone that might have installed theres. 1 Will the break light work with them? 2 The spring on the break side seems loose. the instructions dont really cover what that wire and plug thing is for:) im lost??? Thanks for any help SPM

cant go wrong with rizoma parts, definitely would replace the heel guards

Noticed on the Carpimoto site the picture showing the LH Lightech rearsets, specifically the gear change lever is very close to the bodywork and appears to have damaged it/scraped it. Can anyone who has fitted them confirm that there is sufficient clearance from the left lower fairing. maybe a pic or two with them installed showing the clearance. Also can you confirm that the stock brake light switch will not work and does the lightech banjo switch come with the OEM connector or not.
