They actually shipped out yesterday. I missed the fine print on the site that said "ships in 5 days" :(

Boooo! I ordered the wrong oil cap, I have no idea what the right size is damnit.... I do have a micrometer, will investigate further lol...

Yeah, I just ordered one... sad panda. I haven't been able to ride for a week now :( (clutch SNAFU).

Those with the Rizoma rearsets, did you install yourself or take to the stealership?

Hey all,

I've been riding my entire life and among all of the countless thousands of dollars in upgrades I've spent on my numerous bikes and cars, I've never understood what the deal with upgrading rearsets is.

I must admit, I know very little about what the benefits/gains are in 'upgrading' rearsets (aside from obvious visual and material upgrade). Please forgive me for not knowing but could someone be so kind as to give me a brief (or detailed) synopsis/dissertation as to why you are all so geeked up about the 'rearset upgrade'? I guess I don't understand how some can say its the best upgrade and such.

I'm sure once I truly understand what its all about, I'll likely be in the consensus.

Much appreciated!

They arrived last night (some assembly required)! I didn't get the CF heal guards for them yet, I will post when they come in. I love the angles, finish, and that their brand name isn't stamped all over the place, just "Panigale", and have all the adjustments I wanted. I will mount them after Thanskgiving.

1. Most are adjustable to fit you.
A) foot peg height adjustment
B) foot peg back or forward adjustment
C) brake lever and gear lever angle adjustment
D) tip of the brake lever and shift lever adjustment to your foot size
E) light weight
F) better grip on the foot peg
G) lean angle clearance
H) looks

2. Most stock foot pegs are not adjustable and you just get used to what the OEM give you.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch! I guess I flat out just didn't know what I've been missing for all these years.

When born blind you don't know what its like to live life after losing your sight. Or something like that.

Is this generally something most would suggest having the dealer install and then making the personal adjustments to the owner afterwards at home?

Thanks again!

What he said - PLUS - better shifting/linkage operation if the rearsets are a quality design with good joints.

Why wait? Took me an hour or two.
