ROAME riding shoes, thoughts?

Riding shoes are a waste of time, boots provide the only acceptable level of protection. The only reason you use shoes is when your hope not to crash level exceeds your when I crash I will have protection level.

I agree. But blinking indicator light shoes is good for extra visibility

I don't even wear jeans on a motorcycle. Feet, ankles, shins, knees, hips, hands, wrists, elbows and head need adequate protection.
I work in an operating theatre and see these bits ground down or off by nice people that never expected it!

I'm the wrong person to ask as many people on here, race style boots and leather with armour if it's too hot for you jump in the car with the air on.

As long as you don't value your ankles or fibia/tibia, buy a pair.
Hehe, yeah I agree. I just wanted to try to look at the other side (of the arguments) and see if it would make sense. I think it has too poor protection aswell.

Comfort when riding, particularly for those lucky enough to live in warmer climates is always going to get the better of a riders choice when it comes to what they wear on any given day. Personally if it's too hot and you are sweating on the bike, then yes it's not ideal but then neither is a skin graft if you come off or are knocked off. I can always wash my clothing, however you can't replace skin and bone that easily.

Reminds me of that famous quote.....Her: "Sir you are drunk!" Him: Yes madam and you are ugly, but in the morning I will be sober!"

Yeah, that's the benefit of living in Norway ;) Perfect temperatures in the sommer, not too hot :)
