If rossi is so great of a rider he would have had at least several podiums on the ducati . after two year even with a crap bike he should have done much better. All he did was cry. The Very Same Bike stoner pummeled the competition on.

If the bike was so bad nicky never would have regularly beaten rossi. Its actually embarrassing for what many in this world allege is the best rider to not even be able to adapt his riding to a different bike. The best can and do this all the time. A world class rider adapts riding style to suit the bike.

Lets talk competition and rules for a moment. How many years was rossi allowed to cleanly pass (where other riders wold deliberately pull off the race line watch the races objectivly) and let rossi go by then get back on the race line and fight the next guy? How about being able to pass stoner under yellow flag at Philip Island. how about no punishment for dangerous riding or for passing stoner in the dirt at laguna. finally how about the time he deliberately punted sete off the track. nothing was done ever about any of this.

Stoner has been in the chase 1/4 the amount of time of rossi and out of the 2 riders Stoner is the guy (at the time he did it the only guy) to win at every single track in the moto gp circuit.

Finally rossi had many great riders help before him with the devlopent of the bikes he rode. Yamaha stated that their bike was not far off from the honda. checa bayliss biaggi edwards and sete all help develop the bike rossi road. he reaped the benefits of other great riders before him.

I told you I'm not a huge Rossi fanboy, but I do have more of an open-minded look at things, I don't believe he has always had the best, as that was the reason he switched to Yamaha the first time, to prove he could win without the best (at that time, Honda). But I also don't believe the best riders can win on any bike no matter what, everyone is different. Hayden won on Honda, but sucks real bad on Ducati as well. Dovi did real well last year on a Satallite Yamaha, but is struggling to keep up on a Ducati now in testing. Instead of looking at it as, "well Stoner could do it so why can't Rossi?" maybe it's also appropriate to look at it as, "well Stoner is the apparently the ONLY one who could do it, was the bike different back then? Did something change? Or is Stoner just a phenom in that respect?"

That being said, I really don't have any words to eat because I'm not standing on a soapbox right now ranting about what I believe. I simply want to know if you still have a bit of an open mind to possibly eat your words if Rossi comes up big this year, or if your mind is unchangeable, even if Rossi wins every race by 15 seconds.



Coming up big means Rossi wins. The title.

Honestly, if I had to choose one person and one person only to throw the whole season at, it would probably be Pedrosa. But if I ended up with Rossi, Marquez, or even Lorenzo (who I really don't like, but not because I think he's no good, I know he's an amazing rider, I just get a bad vibe from him haha), if I ended up with any of those 4 I definitely wouldn't complain, I'd feel pretty optimistic. Call my crazy

I'm surprised Cobra700 hasn't shown up and started blathering about Hayden yet. His blatant Hayden nuthuggery clouds his judgment about that mid-packer.
