today is a upsetting day

i went to get my bike dyno and result is 155psi at the wheel
he confirms this is normal on there dyno and this is the true HP
as they are a race team service center.

i wonder if all those other STOCK dyno that state 168rwhp are fake

why is my bike giving such poor result

Were they checking your tire pressure?

Also I guess whoever was operating the dyno doesn't know a thing about Panigales. The speed sensor needs to be removed.

Motologic ?

Were they doing a tune or just running it for hp? Be more concerned with the power and torque curve than top end HP.

Either way, it's odd to me that an experienced shop wouldn't help you translate the numbers and normalize them with, say a WinPep.

Yeah chuck on there tire and wheel so my wont get shredded.
The wheel sensor was off
Everything is set off
It was at motologic

They only did a hp run. Not a tune

Dyno all read differently. Did they just do one run or afew? was the bike warm up?

Mine made 166.48HP with the rear wheel sensors still connected

As we learned in the AR threads, there are a lot of steps to see highest readings with the Pani. Did they have the 140+ wind speeds for the ram air effect? The range of numbers from this bike is amazing. Cycle world got 169 hp last year, while sport rider got 145 ish.

At a bike night here in the Orlando area last month, there was mobile Dynojet 250i dyno doing HP runs for $20. My friends 2013 BMW S1000RR with full Arrow exhaust and PCV pulled 179 rwhp. There were 3 Pani's also there and a bone stock one pulled the highest HP of the three by 1-2 HP at 174 rwhp. Another friends S1000RR with a full Akra and PCV but with 26,000 miles pulled 175 rwhp.

The main point to me is the comparison of an S1000RR with several Pani's on the same dyno by the same operator within an hour of each other. My friend's S1000RR had another dyno run at Daytona Bike Week in March and pulled 194 on that dyno. So I'm pretty impressed that Pani's are apparently coming so close to S1000RR's.

It's being said several times on this board, if you watch FIM 1000 Superstock racing, where cams, pistons and heads must remain OEM, the Panigale R's are neck and neck with the BMW HP4s. This is true even at tracks like Monza where the Panigale R's top speed was 309 km/hr to the HP4's 311 km/hr down the long front straight.

And does you bike feel slower now when you ride it because you have a number in your head from a piece of paper. I bet the bike feels just as fast as before. To be honest why the hell would you be upset, I bet there is nothing wrong with your bike and wit would be just as fast as the next one.

It means nothing unless you are modifying the bike and you use the dyno to track changes from your work and determine what effect it has.

If you want a big number to feel good just keep going to different dyno operators till you get the number you want.

Im keen on the truth. So if its 155 then it is.
I trust these guys that they dont screw around because they a racing team to deal with.
If its fast as another stock pani or close to bmw im very happy.

Next thing to do is convince another pani owner yo dyno and compare.
What upsets me is that other stock online figures put mine down
i know how each dyno is different. which is kind of terrible cause there is no truth to comparing

The operator did mention that a full termi pani got 163rwhp on same dyno.
Working backward im on par with what its meant to be.

I know that dyno is hard on pani unless you hsve air ram fan.

Where you get yours done?
My bike was warm run in
About 8 runs with them choosing best one.
155rwhp 107nm trq

The blue line on this graph is a stock standard 1199. Do you have your graph so we can compare the curve?

i have it on paper. ill have to scan it and post it later
abit lazy now lol

but mine is the EXACT same just alot more compress with 155rwhp ending

4-5 flat spot 55hp
5-6 lil jump 65hp
6-8 huge climb 104hp
8-11 steady ending 155hp

i wonder if there is any dyno in melbourne that has a Air Ram Fan for intakes

Pro Twin in Perth , W.A . It was a dyno day, Bike did 4 runs all reading where around 166 mark. (this would have been in Jan this year, think bike had done around 4,000km at that stage)

Another dyno in perth has claim that he stock 1199 does 185ish hp stock.. again it is easy to make the numbers higher or lower on a dyno so hard to trust a reading unless you trust the people doing it

+1. Pretty similar to what Roadracing World saw in their shootout last year, with Dynojet themselves testing all the bikes on their official traveling rig on the same day, same atmospherics, same operator. Pani was second to the S1000 but ahead of the other 4's (save the Kawi and the Ape, which both croaked in the near 110 degree heat). On RRW's scales and dyno, the Pani had the best power to weight ratio of the bunch.

You'll see a lot of different numbers around, usually the low ones coming off eddy-current dynos like Superflows and higher ones off inertial rigs like Dynojets, but all in all the Pani has plenty of poke. Could use some work in the linearity department, but it'll post solid numbers on top.

people dont believe me when i tell them this bike is like a 2stroke

there are so many different power band.
every RPM runs different
