I don't know. I presume it has some benefit. But, presumably, the system has a wide operating window?

Years ago, I was using an early TC system, and we had to measure tyre circumference, put the info in a program on the laptop, then upload it to the standalone TC unit. It wasn't that sensitive to circumference either, and only had five pickup points for the wheel speed sensors. And, occasionally, the front sensor would go into the wheel and ping off directly infront of me. Guess, at least when I saw it, I knew the TC wasn't active anymore 🤣

If you change gear ratios and/or tire diameter there is a risk the downshift blip will not work anymore.

Ah, yes. I had heard, if you have any electronic gremlin, try tyre calibration.

And I tried it, but my problem was gear position sensor.
 
Somehow but not a master. It gives you amazing drive. It let the rear slide and DSC1 is best for this one.
