So I took the bike out yesterday and was stopped at the stop light. Next thing I know, the engine died. I went to restart and it fires up fine and rode it home without a glitch. What do you guys think?

I think you should remove the charcoal emissions canister after you do a search for it on this forum. ;)

-- has zero to do with the canister - but remove it anyway - you'll prevent the possible filling of it with fuel over flow, which could implode your gas tank or create a hard starting issue.....but not a stall.....just my .02 cents, that I won't charge for :)

What I need to learn is how the hell to search through forums! I feel like a dumb blonde I can't find a search box.

Charcoal canister removed here....Not one issue other than slight melting thats only visible on the inside of the fairing. Also, my bike died while warming up...hasent stalled since. Sometimes I feel like it could stall at certain times but I rev the bike (i.e...like when other people have had the stall while pulling in the clutch at low speeds coming to a stop)

In other words, Im not sold the the canister delete fixes this particular issue...

Welcome to owning a Panigale. The bike you'd love to hate (for various reasons) but one good look at the bike and you're right back to convincing yourself why you're in love with it in the first place. Mine is in the shop for warranty issues but I'm dyin to have it back so I can at least stare at it every day.

-- removing the canister has nothing to do with the stall issue

-- the stalling people are experiencing is something Ducati has been dealing with for quite a while (days of the 851....up to now) - it is related to the air/fuel ratio and the size of the pistons (think salad plates) that, at times, can be just on the wrong side of combustion - you can clean it up, possibly completely, wiht a power commander and some tuning....but for the most part, if it isn't overly intrusive (like in the middle of a u-turn, while you have both feet on the pegs <don't ask>) it can be lived with......

Confirmed

I've been having the stalling issue since picking the bike up on Wednesday.

The charcol canister has nothing to do with it, because I popped the fairing off this afternoon to have a look at the canister and my (euro/UK) bike doesn't have one, so it's obviously not down to that!

Somehow after the 600 mile service, mine began running a lot better with less stalls. the only time it stalls now is if i'm stuck in traffic and engine temps get over 220 F.
