I have a 2024 V4 and would like to get some input what you guys might suggest for slip-on choices between Termi, Akra and Arrow. Any

suggestions and why are welcome.

The akra makes a more bass, BOOM sound than the termi. Also is the most expensive.

Me personally, ive had a full system termi, and full system akra, and i'd pick the akra pipe 10/10 times.

Arrow and a couple others are cheaper....but i never buy new anyways so that never made a difference to me.

I will tell you, that bike will change with full system and ducati map...it will unrestricted most of the stock bull crap...and an aftermarket custom tune will be next level on top of that....the stock bike fueling sucks, has since the 2012 1199....

good luck buddy,
Jag

Choosing a slip-on exhaust for your 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 is a great way to enhance both performance and aesthetics. Here’s a breakdown of the three brands you mentioned—Termignoni, Akrapovic, and Arrow—to help you decide:

1. Termignoni

  • Why Choose Termignoni?
    • Brand Heritage: Termignoni is the official exhaust partner for Ducati, so their systems are specifically designed and tuned for Ducati motorcycles, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
    • Sound: Termignoni exhausts are known for their deep, throaty, and race-inspired sound, which complements the character of the Panigale V4.
    • Build Quality: High-quality materials and craftsmanship ensure durability and a premium finish.
    • Performance: Expect slight gains in horsepower and torque, along with weight reduction compared to the stock exhaust.
    • Aesthetics: The design is sleek and integrates well with the Panigale’s aggressive styling.
  • Considerations:
    • Termignoni exhausts are often more expensive due to their brand association with Ducati.
    • They may require ECU remapping for optimal performance, which could add to the cost.

2. Akrapovic

  • Why Choose Akrapovic?
    • Reputation: Akrapovic is one of the most respected names in the motorcycle exhaust industry, known for their high-performance systems.
    • Performance: Akrapovic slip-ons typically offer noticeable improvements in horsepower, torque, and weight savings.
    • Sound: Their exhausts produce a refined, aggressive tone that’s loud but not overly obtrusive.
    • Build Quality: Made from premium materials like titanium and carbon fiber, Akrapovic exhausts are lightweight and durable.
    • Aesthetics: Their designs are modern and sporty, often enhancing the bike’s overall look.
  • Considerations:
    • Akrapovic systems are also on the pricier side, though they are widely regarded as worth the investment.
    • Like Termignoni, you may need an ECU remap for the best results.

3. Arrow

  • Why Choose Arrow?
    • Value for Money: Arrow offers high-quality exhausts at a more affordable price point compared to Termignoni and Akrapovic.
    • Performance: You’ll still get decent performance gains, including improved throttle response and weight reduction.
    • Sound: Arrow exhausts deliver a deep, sporty sound that’s louder than stock but not as aggressive as some other brands.
    • Build Quality: While not as premium as Termignoni or Akrapovic, Arrow systems are still well-made and durable.
    • Aesthetics: Their designs are stylish and complement the Panigale’s aggressive look.
  • Considerations:
    • Arrow may not offer the same level of performance or prestige as Termignoni or Akrapovic, but it’s a great option if you’re on a budget.
    • Some riders feel the sound and finish are not as refined as the higher-end brands.

Recommendation

  • If budget is no concern and you want the best performance and sound, go with Termignoni or Akrapovic. Both are excellent choices, but Termignoni has the added benefit of being Ducati’s official partner.
  • If you’re looking for a balance of performance and value, Arrow is a solid choice that won’t break the bank.

Additional Tips

  • Check Local Regulations: Ensure the slip-on you choose complies with noise and emissions regulations in your area.
  • ECU Remapping: Consider getting your ECU remapped or using a fuel controller to maximize performance gains.
  • Installation: Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fitment and performance.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your priorities (sound, performance, aesthetics, or budget). Test ride or listen to sound clips of each exhaust if possible to help you decide!

I have an Arrow half system which allegedly adds 6 HP but the best part sheds like 11 lbs. A little loud maybe, sounds sorta vicious. Needs an appropriate tune. Once the converters off these need to be remapped. No exceptions.
