Just moved to west LA area for work, was out on Mulholland, The Rock Store, Neptune on Hwy 1 today, saw a few Pani's around

Anyone free on Wednesdays to ride up Angeles Crest to Angeles Forest Hwy towards Palmdale? Perhaps Latigo Canyon to Mulholland?

Work to late for week day eve rides
I'm in a motel West Adams for next couple weeks until I hopefully
move in to a house in West Hollywood nr Fairfax rd area.

Could have been a very bad day,
I was at the Rock Store, just went to pull away turning to the right in the parking lot
When the bike stalled, I couldn't get my right foot down quick enough and down we went.
2 guys quickly assisted me in picking the bike up.
Luckily I have Sato ft & mid sliders on only damage were scratches on RH bar end, brake & rear-set peg & rear brake lever, black marker pen probably hide most of it.

Lesson keep both feet down like a novice while pulling away.

ACH Hwy 2

That's awesome. Would be a dream to ride a Desmo. Headed up to the crest on Wednesday. Excited to get out and ride since I've not ridden for about a month.

Kenny832, how was the roads on ACH? Did you ride out to the block off gate to Wrightwood?

Was the gate down? Roads still pebbled from rain? Any hazards on the roads?

Thanks in advance!

We went up from LaCanada and took 9 mile to Newcomb. 9mile was perfect, however, once we got back on the 2, there were some rock slide spots so be careful. Did not go to the gate, heard it was still closed.

Hope that helps, have fun and have a safe ride.

That's what I was afraid of. Probably go up from La Canada to Angeles Forester Highway towards Palmdale and back track and head to newcombs.

Thanks again Kenny.
