I have a set of Marchenesi Forged Magnesium that came on my V4 25 Anniversario 916, VERY low mileage, if you are local to SoCal I’ll give you the SC3 tires that are on there that were only used for a few sighting laps, then taken off the bike.

I also have a set of carbon ceramic SICOM T-Drive rotors WITH the SICOM pads that are bedded to the rotors. These rotors change the game on brake and weight, they do not need to heat up to work well like previous generation Carbon Ceramic rotors, have a progressive initial bite so they make trail breaking easier with more finesse and a better feel, but then they ramp up quickly to stop as well as Z04 pads on Steel Rotors. Most importantly they reduce rotating mass by about 5 pounds on the front wheel, so the bike feels way lighter and flicks MUCH easier side to side.

Buying these used is actually BETTER than buying them new, because they do not wear when using the SICOM pads, they are designed to pass material back and forth from rotor to pad, no brake dust because there is no wear, just material bonding back and forth from rotor to pad. But that makes them kind of a pita to bed properly because you have to heat cycle them in a very particular way to get the pad material bedded onto the rotors properly, which in turn dials up the breaking power, that already done on these.

These rotors are also typically on 6 month or more backorder, so it’s a better than new set of rotors that you don’t have to wait 6 months for.

I cannot speak highly enough of this pad and rotor combination, I hate to sell them but moving on to another project. The combination of incredible braking power with the ability to finesse the brakes, and the crazy reduction in rotating mass make these a game changer.

$3900 for the wheels
$2900 for the rotors and matching bedded pads

Tires only come with wheels if local to save shipping costs.

I’m gunna price drop these for the forum guys, to make it easier for someone else to try out these rotors.

$1950 for the Sicom Rotors & Pads
$2900 for the Marchenesi Wheels

$4600 if you buy wheels and rotors together.

Wheels are in perfect condition by the way, about 300 street miles and they only track time they’ve seen is 3 sighting laps at low speeds on a new track.

What are you asking for the Thyssenkrupps?

I think they are going for about $4200 new for the V4, if I’m wrong correct me on that, with about a 6 to 10 week waitlist.

So $3200 seems fair?

whats the new project?

Not much a “project”, more like an exercise.

The plan is to buy two Kramers, an
whats the new project?

the new project isn’t a bike, it’s the rider, I’m going to buy a Kramer Evo2 690R and probably either a KTM 8C RC or a Kramer 890R.

Then I’m going to ride the EVO2 until I have complete bike control, able to and confident about sliding both the front and rear wheels all the way around the track at maximum lean angle and corner roll speeds, after that I’ll do the same thing with the 890R.

When I have complete control of those two bikes I’ll do another V4 bike.

I reached a bit of plateau on my bike, learning on a nearly WSBK spec V4 as my 1st track bike at 50 years old, and 1st sport bike in general has been a fun challenge, but to progress much more WITHOUT a high consequence crash I need to go backward a bit.

Toward the end of next season we’ll see what Ducati and Aprilia are coming out with. Maybe an XTrenta, or maybe Ducati comes out with the new gearbox and double sided swingarm etc, we’ll see.

And there’s always the possibility that after riding the Kramers for a rear maybe I want something less savage in a liter bike than a V4…maybe an R1 GYTR, we’ll see when I get there.

Keep in mind with GYTR the sky is the limit. If you want a full WSBK you can get it. Expensive, but they aren't twats about it. The landscape could change between now and then for sure.

With this in mind, why did you opt to sell the GSXR? (It was a GSXR right?)

I still have it may end up keeping it, great bike but I don’t love how lazy it turns after riding my V4, though I’ve never really tried to dial in the suspension on the GSXR.

I guess the Kramers and the KTMs are surely worth the money, I'll never get to sample one. What escapes me is why not just pick up a used Ducati 749, upgrade the suspension and ergos and ride it for all it's worth? Parts are so cheap it's insane. At Laguna a few weeks ago, I was holding off all but the very quickest with this setup.

Have you done American Super Camp? There's also a guy named Brock that we'll be riding with on Sunday, up near Sacramento. His place regularly hosts the best SuperMoto riders on the planet as well as MotoAmerica superstars. Send me a message if you'd like the info.

Best of luck!

If you had a buer for the front I am looking for a rear only M9rs. Lmk if you would break them up. Ty.

Steven I'll buy the rotors, pads and swingarm for the $1950 and the swingarm for $750. Consider these sold and we'll work out the details (I'll bring cash). Thanks.

Swingarm yes, pads and rotors no, decided to hold onto those after all. Will update the thread.
