So this finally arrived, Finn’s how good the figment will be until I install it, but it LOOKS great and I see why they charge so much for it.

The “cans” on this exhaust are essentially a slightly tapered open 5 inch long add on…the whole system has no baffles or DB killers whatsoever, it’s full on race pipes/straight pipes as you would expect from a WSBK exhaust, so this thing is gunna be loud as hell muahaha

the slip fit of each section is perfect too, almost zero windage around the slip fits and no movement at the joints, very well sized slip fits….really really light system too

will update on how well it fits up in a few weeks when it’s installed.

I was thinking it looked very similar to the full Akrapovic (non-WSBK) system.

But, there's only so many ways to build an exhaust system to fit the packaging constraints of a Panigale V4.

Steve can u install this already?Hurry up I want to see

haha, it’s a whole tear down process to do it, so I was waiting on other parts to do it all at once…last bit is the race fairings, front fork inserts, rear shock….the fairings are getting painted and will be here in the next few days, the Ohlins stuff should be here shortly.

shop time scheduled on April 15th

this next round I’m having the exhaust installed, Front fork internals, rear GP shock, Pierobon extended swingarm, Brembro GP-MS front calipers, rear caliper upgrade, rear brake MC upgrade, andinstalling the Woolich tuning harness and module and getting it dyno tuned.

a few other bits and bobbins to improve crash protection, ABS delete brake lines, and some electronic bypass stuff for the suspension needed for the new non-electronic suspension control

Looks like April will be exciting for you Steven!

Are you sure you want to delete the ABS? It is not the same as old systems, which really caused problems on track. This system is designed for track use, it's 100% saved my bacon on one occasion, and, as far as I can tell, has no negatives (other than weight, but you have to leave the pump connected anyway).

It's very simple to bypass, would you run it for a few events before deleting it?

to be honest I’m 6 of 1 and a half dozen of the other about removing it….for sure we are just looking at bypassing it for now.

I ordered longer break lines for the extended swingarm and ordered it with ABS delete to try it. Mostly based on what may be outdated posts about guys nearly crashing from ABS interventions.

just as a question

why did you go for the S

Instead of the bese ?

How so - wet, gravel, etc..?
The man has a $7k swingarm and $4k wheels and $7k exhaust. Do you really think he is going to be riding the bike in wet, gravel, etc? [emoji23]

Unless you are being an Uber squid and going triple digit speeds or making hasty maneuvers that need sudden and extreme braking on the street, it's very very very unlikely you will ever push the abs to it's limits where you feel a difference. Modern abs systems especially on the v4 are extremely sophisticated like Rick said, that's it's hard to fault them even on track let alone on the street. People always think they have finely calibrated butt dynos and heightened senses, 99% of riders do not. Not faulting Steven just saying his street riding use cases ain't pushing any performance threaholds and even if he's tracking it there's a lot of headroom before abs delete becomes a legitimate choice.
