My buddy got clocked at 147 on I40 North Tx... Pulled over by THP... His Mts was brand new..still had paper plates..he lied about not knowing his speed etc.. Got a warning....

Got busted on my old base 1199. Still sitting in the impound lot.
Had to go out and buy a R to replace it. Pigs can keep that thing.

Scott, sorry to hear, but that was a good long run between tickets. Do you mind sharing where that trap was? I'm going up there in a couple weeks and need a heads up. My favorite run on the Parkway is east from Cherokee about 40 miles, then south on 276 to 64, than back 64 west to Highlands and 441 ending up at the hotel in Franklin

Virginia isn't for speeders
Pulled going too fast with the wife hitting an underpass and a new exhaust. Nobody on the road except the cop coming from the other direction. After a chat with officer while in handcuffs, I was let go with a reckless driving ticket. Ended up getting a 6 month restricted license, a $2,000 dollar lighter checking account (fines and lawyer), and 10 days in jail.
Sold the car, moved out of Virginia, and a plan to never repeat events.
