Congrats to MM for 13 wins in a season and Congrats to VR for second in the World Championship.

Ducati is on the improve and look out for VR next year.

Yep, they were fast. Cal surprised me. I read somewhere that they decided to not change anything on his 14.1 any more and now he is flying???

...Just a little late.....

Crazy Joe will be the one to watch at Ducati, he was the only one that had anything for MM back in the Moto2 days. And as predicted the best Yamaha and second best rider out there is the LIVING LEGEND VR, he has broke his team mate, he just knows all the tricks, all the games and is fit enough to put it all to good use.

MM shoulda won every race this year. He definitely could have.

Good job to VR though. At his age, this is as good as a championship, if not better. Next year should be an interesting one.

Another great race by MM and glad to see VR take second overall. Bad choice for Jlo going to the wet bike...

He didn't have the dry setup either and was over the limit the entire time to pass the Ducatis. He had nothing to lose and could have been a genius hero had the weather just dropped the buckets for 5 minutes.

MM is a phenomenal rider....looking forward to next year for Ducati. Hope to see the Ducs climbing into podium contention.

True, it just didn't pan out that way for him.

Congratulations to all, and I'd like to offer a special commendation to both Marc and Alex Marquez for becoming the first brothers in MotoGP history to hold titles in the same season. It is going to be incredibly entertaining following these two over the next decade.

Set up is everything on pavement, looking back over the last 2 seasons with VR it looks like his crew chief change was a good idea, perhaps his team mate needs to do the same, I know he's better than he has shown lately, and even the best rider can only carry a bike so far.

JLo was quite fast today, maybe he was first in bed last night :D

he is full of revenge for next year, that's for sure!

Miller was blown away by the horse power, and the brakes. Someone is making a big mistake with that kid skipping Moto 2.

MotoGP is too high stakes for mistakes over who to give a shot to. It may take him some time to acclimate but I'll wager he will get his head around it before next season. He'll have about 5 races to prove something or else there are probably at least 4-5 riders waiting in the wings, fighting over who's next.

That would be good to have them both battling each other in MotoGp!

All things considered, Alex looked fairly comfortable trying out the 93 bike this afternoon. If he can be competitive in Moto2 over the next two years, then I'd say there is a good chance he and Mark could be Repsol teammates in 2017.

There is no shortcut to the top, this is something I have seen time and again over the years with bringing along young racers, rich dad decides jr. is the next big deal, takes shortcut to top, kid orbits around at the back and goes no where. MM is a prime example of doing it in order, he won the 125GP Championship, moved to Moto 2 and was looking good for a Championship, had a close to career ending crash, took another year in Moto 2 kicked everyones ass, and the rest is current history. Now every body is scrambleing to find the next .... hot kid, and I think Miller is, and will be if he is allowed to continue his development with a season in Moto 2. Time will tell, it will be interesting to watch and there is a 10 percent chance I could be wrong.

Ladder series are great, but there are always exceptions. Miller either has it and can get on top of it quickly or he doesn't. Case in point, Kimi Raikkonen. He'd done less than two dozen STARTS in cars period, and those in measly 4-cyl Formula Renault cars prior to getting a drive for Sauber in Formula One. Did well enough in his rookie season in that sub-par car to get offered double world champion Mika Hakkinen's seat at McLaren the very next year, and podiumed his first time out in it. Went on to be a World Champion himself later, of course.
