That's funny because it's exactly what people said they wanted Marquez to do. He respected the championship, stayed the hell out of it, and left any potential battling to Rossi and Lorenzo. Now people are angry that he wasn't up to his normal aggressive antics.

Marquez's ride is exactly what the asinine "lay down for the contenders" unwritten rule looks like.

well, he did that because it matched his playbook.

shoulda done that at P.I. already and not just in the last race.

Hmmmm interesting....if that's true it really sums up what a DOUCHE Jlo really is and makes me AGAIN question the MotoGP championship outcome of a true showdown for the title
 
mm destroyed the integrity of the championship for his own personal vindictiveness, this is a spoiled little brat that cares only for himself. Rules have been changed and created just for him, MGP is owned and funded by Spanish Corp's and now we are seeing the results
 
yup, as bad as european soccer.


i wonder if any betting agency/corps are involved...

For the post that said I don't care about the sport or other riders. My favorite rider is MM I could care less about jlo actually would like to see Danny win. I don't like rossi so hope he loses everytime. I never said I hope he crashes.
The point about passing riders from. Last. Big deal any factory rider would have ended up same place. FYI mm did it twice and won in moto 3 and moto2

That picture is actually pretty funny mark. I don't agree with the stuff you say as some of it in my mind is not true but you feel the same way about what I or any of us say. Maybe starting a new thread on Rossi loosing the title was a bit much, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Actually I feel a bit more open minded after reading the asphalt and rubber article that pedrin posted.


Just sux that this is what Moto GP has come to, reminds me of boxing lol

The strangest aspect of Rossi’s attack on Márquez is that he appeared to be shifting the responsibility for winning the title from the Italian’s own shoulders onto the man he had so publicly attacked.

By placing the onus on the Hondas to beat Lorenzo, he is deflecting responsibility of his own failure to do so.

At Sepang, Rossi was not fast enough to catch Lorenzo after he forced Márquez wide, lapping slower than his teammate. If he had not been suckered into battling with Márquez – clearly Márquez’s plan, as revenge for Rossi’s humiliation of him in the press conference – then Rossi would have finished either third or fourth, again losing points to Lorenzo.
And if Rossi had truly been faster than Márquez, he would have quickly disposed of the Spaniard and gone on to chase Lorenzo. But Rossi wasn’t quicker than Márquez, and got sucked into a battle he had nothing to gain from and no point fighting.

By attacking Márquez, Rossi is admitting that he did not have the championship in his own hands, and needed help from other riders to win it. Why he thought those riders would want help him after he launched such blistering attack on them is something of a mystery.

but i guess that article sucked cause it was against the rossi agenda.

Marc Márquez helping Jorge Lorenzo to beat Valentino Rossi makes as much sense as Max Biaggi helping Rossi beat Sete Gibernau. There is a logic there, but it is an entirely abstract logic which bears no relation to the human reality of the situation.
