PHL Looks like an interesting modification for those that like loud exhausts..
was looking at the pictures and the one with the rear tire in it is interesting . Is that the screen you will have over the exhaust ?

BTW... From the looks of the wear on your rear tire, it looks like your damping setting on the rear shock is waay too firm.. Or you need to adjust the tire pressure.. Are those Michelins? The tire looks to be spinning up a lot when you are leaned over and getting back on the throttle lifting the bike back up....? My ZX 10 would do the same thing and get all gummy on the edge..
I use the Pirelli SC2 slicks Just wondering?
I haven't ridden a big twin on the track yet so I'm not sure how they come out of an exit hard.. I have not gotten a race body for my 1299 yet... No way I'm getting on the track with the street body.. I wadded up a real nice CBR1000 on the track (just from a short front end tuck about 60 mph) 5 years ago and it was totaled just because the street bodywork was trashed I cannot imagine how much a Ducati 1299 bodywork would be...

Hey Phl,

How long would you say it would be from the time the cans hit your front door to shipped back to ca?
Looking to get this done but I need to find a new set of cans because my kickstand came loose and scratched mine badly (wonder if I can get it covered under warranty).

Thanks!

1-2 weeks, but there is also a rush option.

If only the sleeves are scratched, I might be able to help you out there.

Anyone who needs a stock exhaust cans PM me and shoot me a price I have 3 of them that are collecting dust..

Hopefully you're not too busy in the winter months... This is definitely on my list of stuff to get done.

After looking at prices of aftermarket stuff, I'm leaning more and more towards this... Get it cored, tuned, throw in a racing air filter, and give the bird to Termis and Akras... Although I'm just jealous because I can't spend the cash on Akras at the moment... I'll be in touch at the end of the season!

1299 system on my 1199 for testing purposes right now.

New welder is supposed to have way nicer welds, so let's see.

They will also be opened via wire edm (cut is only 0.3 mm) , that should work better than the traditional methods
