Okay, tail between my legs here... I can't seem to give this bike (v4s) a handful of gas off the lights. With my zx10, I could have 7k or so rpm and feather out the clutch within a second or so to have a full hand full available (and if done right, a foot of wheelie).

I've worked out how to be decently good off the mark by taking the slack off the throttle (so the two other pots drop), letting the clutch out to friction point, and on green easing the two in opposite directions till the clutch is out. I took a zx10 and a tesla s the other day, but it still feels like they are closer in my mirrors then if I was on my old zx10.

If I get too enthusiatic, the bike grinds to a halt (under ether wheelie or traction control), the revs oscillate, and I bunny hop down the road looking like an idiot. The clutch just seems really grabby.

So:
a) Do any of you experience the same, or am I a numptie;
b) are there any adjustments you've done to the clutch to improve the grabbiness; and
c) what dtc and dwc settings are you using for 'enthusiastic' street riding. I have 4 and 5 respectively (which I know are too high, but just don't want to flip it). Note, I'm happy for it to rise a foot or so.

Thanks in advance.
