in the general context (or out of context) of my statement, i'll rephrase it: he had no right getting on his custom built 1199 and attempting to push it at a fast clip on a race track (like he did) with skill-set that quickly betrayed him and could have injured other riders, not limited to himself...so yes in that specific context, he had no right....
It's not like the guy couldn't ride and no different to every track in which you see people riding bikes too powerful for them especially in the novice and intermediate groups.
I'm glad he built the bike and shared the experience with us and i think most readers wished they had the means to do the same.
