Nice video, I have the same set of bags. Excellent for trips on the Pani, holds a lot of stuff and no need to wear backpack which can be tiresome. Also, these bags have been able to withstand some high-speed runs, well into the triple digits without any problems.
I agree, these are a MUST HAVE for any Pani owner.

ive done well over 200kmph with them on so i think they are great...
very clean look and easy to take off if need be
and price makes it even more attractive..

Thanks for this. A couple of questions -

1)Turn indicators. I have the Rizoma tail tidy but used the stock indictors (but with slightly shortened stalks - they don't stick out quite as far as stock). How much room is there? I"ve looked at this setup but my concern is that they won't fit with my current indicator setup.

2)Waterproof inserts. How are they made in terms of fit? Are they fitted to be top access while in the saddlebags?

from memory USA is using the large stock which wont fit but if you had euro indicator is be a nice squeeze.. i also use rizoma tail tidy...

question 2.. its just a large waterproof bag meant to go in the top access...

I never mounted the passenger pegs on my R--do you think the mounting bracket will attach correctly without the passenger pegs?

FYI - Motostarz has this on sale(bags/liners/mounts) for $339.62 with free shipping/no tax to the lower 48 if anyone is interested. They're currently on backorder but the estimated lead time is only 3 weeks. I picked up a set yesterday.

Cheers.

bags come with spacers so you dont need the passenger pegs... so yes it would work like as you see without pegs.

BB have you tried mounting with your full akra fitted ? Does it work ?

Thanks for the review. I have heard from another source the bags work well on the 1199.

With venture you miss out on passenger Cuz it takes up the spot... Fitting akra now will post video

yes you can fit the bags and arm without the pillion pegs.
bags come with spacers.. also akra does too...

cuttiing hole thru the akra carbon shield is easy and looks very clean...
i recommend geting a dremel tool or borrow one...

hole for sw motech would take about less then 20mins
just make sure its 1cm height and whatever distances
