switching oils

I will switch from Motorex Full synthetic to Motul v300when I install my oil cooler. The only reason I want to do this is I personally think Motul is a better oil and I will finally be able to get some here in the "magic Kingdom".

Should I have any concerns about switching brands?

I would think not. I use it in my Tricolore, used it in my 1198SP, and would use it in my Porsche RS if it wasn't so expensive. Great oil.

No concerns, but change the oilfilter aswell, it contains some oil.

Both are great oils. I have used both of them exclusively(did go Amsoil for about a year). Not sure the average joe nor your 1199 will be able to tell the difference.

No issue with switching oil. I use Motul 300V in my bikes as well.
