Just wanted to know how many people in Australia (specifically Sydney) are still waiting for their bikes?

Why does it feel like the whole world has got it except me!!!

Have not got mine yet. Got through customs last Monday in Sydney, on it's way to tassie been 10 days of patient waiting. Was hoping it arrived today. Let's hope tomorrow. My mate ordered the tri a few weeks before mine he has still got 6 weeks to wait.

I've had mine since May 21st ordered an S. However I had it for 14 days got the first service over and a stupid dumb bitch reversed parked and knocked it over. Now I have to wait 3wks for parts. I've seen heaps of Panigale's in the workshop waiting to be picked up though.

You poor bugger!! I would be spewing if that happened to mine. I got a call yesterday to say that mine will be in Brisbane early next week. I can't wait!

Relax.

They're letting the yanks find all the bugs before they ship the rest.

I've been told late july /aug also ordered from north side... Ordered mid April!

Seems like a few of us had ordered from Northside. I did too, deposit in jan. Hopefully the bugs are sorted out a little before we get it here.

Why?

They were mostly resolved with other models by the time they got here.
Don't see why the 1199 will be any different.

The issues that were getting all the air time on US forums didn't seem to rear their ugly heads over here - or, only in small numbers.

I'm not too concerned.

It was a tongue in cheek comment. ;)

If you have no expectations, then you can only ever be pleasantly surprised:D:D:D

To me, life is too short to get all worked up over a toy. If mine arrives with zero problems, then great. If it does have a few then I'll deal with them until they are no longer considered fun and I'll just sell the bike.:)

Well, got the call......Shes in:D. "Come and have a look but she want be ready today for you to collect". :(

Went and had a look....WOW. Smaller than expected. Thinner than expected. lighter than expected. Better than expected.

Got upsold on carbon everywhere, and tail tidy. Talked the mecahnic in to having it ready tonight. Cost me a carton of Beer. (Well worth it).

happy days. :D:D

I have had mine for a few months now, over 2000 K's, it is simply brilliant, just take the time to learn what it is all about, you should be very happy for sure.

By the way the guys at Frasers have been fantastic absolutely no complaints, good one guys.

Cheers all

+1 about the guys at frasers, they have been so supportive and keen to know how the bike is going. especially with the few hiccups I had in the first few wks.

but then again I just spent 40K with them

Should have put a deposit down at the Sydney Motorcycle Show in November last year....then you to could be going for a ride tomorrow like I am.

I am sure your bike will be here soon and the wait will be a distant memory:D
