T800 UpMap users, I have a question…

Hi all,
Just curious if you get any sort of display on the dash at start up that confirms that you have a map successfully installed, like “upmap race” or something along those lines…?? 2012 1199S Tricolore.

My 959 Corse says “Race Evo” on startup.

Mine says Race Evo when starting up: Ducati Logo --> Race Evo --> Normal dash display. It doesn't stay up.

And that’s with the T800 UpMap? What year 1199 & which downloaded map do you have installed in the bike?

It was with the upmap, but it was the key system which I believe unlocks a map already in the ECU.

Now it's on Tuneboy I get exactly the same process/display. I'm not sure if it's a Tuneboy thing or if it was because the upmap had previously been done.

Same. John, I don’t know why you think it’s bike specific. A simple google search reveals that any Ducati running the T-800 gets the Race Evo startup message.

I guess I just wanted to confirm with another 1199 owner that IS running the T800 set-up because I have seen the message appear on 1299 videos on YouTube, but haven't found a video of a 1199 with the T800/key on scenario.

I'm simply trying to confirm that all went well with the installation.... One thing that has me questioning it is that every time I am near the bike and open the app, it asks me about downloading new firmware, which I have done. That makes me question if it is installed and working properly....

As requested, this is a short video of ignition being turned on after the install of the T800 UpMap. No display of “Evo racing”…..

Actually, I’m getting asked to update the firmware despite the fact that I’ve done it as well. I downloaded it successfully today and it immediately asked me to do it again sooooo I’m chalking this up as a bug.

I vaguely recall having to do a couple of firmware updates. Its almost as if the deice has to go incrementally. Like it can't go 1.1 to 1.5 but has to go 1.1 to 1.2 to 1.3 etc.
