Tail Light delete issues

Anyone running the DP race tail kit? I bought the kit used a long time ago on here and just got around to fitting it. It came with the plug for the tail light, but I’m still getting the “STOP LIGHT” error on the dash.

Any ideas?
 
measure the resistance of the plug.

it's basically a connector with a resistor in there. i'd start tracing down the contact on the terminals.
